Re: Slingshot UFO V3

Bought a 5m v3 in November to be met with a month of offshore winds or work appointments. Had my first run yesterday in 20-24 kts at 88kg. I’m used to flying Peaks 4s, I would have used the P4 5m yesterday. . Just a couple of comments: you would use a Peak4 5m in 20-24 knots? i think I would be usi...

The 5 - 3 is too big, you really want the 4 in there. Plus, the 4 is my favorite kite anyways.
Great feedback. Thx

Re: Slingshot UFO V3

I’ve just ordered the 5m UFO V3 after wanting to try something different to my Flysurfer Peaks. I didn’t order the joystick bar (unavailable) so am hoping to use the UFO on either my current Flysurfer Force control bar (21 m lines) or I have an older Ozone bar from a Reo v5. Both are low V, single f...

Re: Foiling kite 8-13kn on a budget

I’m 200lbs and absolutely froth about my P4 13m in sub 10. Greatest kite ever (for heavy guys who like mellow foiling).

If you don’t want a foil kite my buddy of similar weight does very well on an Airush Ultra. I think they are more expensive than the Peak however.

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

i admit i haven't read all the 140+ pages of this thread, so maybe this has already been answered. But the 30 or so pages I have read seem to indicate this kite in a 13M isn't a good light wind kite. I guess i don't understand why it wouldn't be given it's lightness. I'm looking into getting a foil...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

I was kiting in Italy, and an experienced dude told me my 11m had a bit of a kink in it and likely one the bridles had a knot. He said the C provably. I found no knots and the kite flies fine. Do i start with a mixertest or is he just pulling my leg? We often get dried seaweed that can catch...

Re: seat harness impedes toeside, anyone but me?

that single line on the dynabar scares me I've used the Dynabar for about 5 years now, with Dakine Fusion to begin with. Used it all the time, TT and surfboard, and now foil. I've gone back to a fixed hook for the TT because the rope seems to suck up a bit of energy. Can hardly ride toe side on the...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Hello all , Excuse me for my English ! To read you I am really tempted by a 5m for the Foil wave. I'm not the type to drop my wings, but the relaunch questions me! (On the lake among other capricious winds ..) On the leading edge in reverse the peak does not take off again? On the trailing edge: fu...

Re: I sold my flysurfer soul in favour of

Sold Soul 15 and bought Peak 4 8m, 5m and 4m. They suit me more for foiling, and I dont ride TT more than once or twice a year. It was a great kite in any case.
