Re: Better grip before jump in chop?

Has anyone mentioned the concept of bearing off a little before you load and pop, rather than just trying to load your lines as much as possible with constant edge? Taking some pressure off your edge before you spot your piece of chop to load up on can help you really nail it when you set your edge...

Re: Which kite shape generates more pull in turns

Don't think anyone has mentioned it but a rule of thumb is that the fatter the chord at the ends (and the less taper you see), the more power in the turns. Its the outer part of the wing area that is doing the turning so the fatter it is, the more potential force you can get in the turn Compare say ...

Re: Woo fixes the terminal corrosion problem in a surprising way

Size and weight of wireless charging and economy of scale for a custom charger. You would end up with a much larger product. Even the cheap wireless chargers for phones are close to credit card sized pads. You'd end up paying triple the price for the product in the end after all the testing that wou...

Re: Eleveight RS with different bar

The North clickbar has reversible line ends. I assume its the same for the duotone version. It should be the same for all rear line adjusting bars (it is on the ocean rodeo shift bar)

Any more comments on the RS? Good/bad features? Have you used the adjustable bridle settings?

Re: The journey from <10m to 20m

Fair enough. Hadn't really thought about it before. I don't recall the explanation that he gave for it on the video. It makes sense the way you explain it though. If you have seen the videos he always says that if you want to learn you are better off flying out to a flat water spot on holiday. I gue...

Re: Aluula ? New Revolutionary Material from Ocean Rodeo

Listening to Reece Myerscroft in the kitesurf365 interview he was saying he was at the point of asking for the prototypes he uses for competition to get slower steering as the kites were too fast. I'm guessing this is why the small sizes aren't being produced for the Flite. The big sizes won't be a ...

Re: The journey from <10m to 20m

I am currently riding a Ronson for my day to day board, previously on a ultrasonic and gintronic. I have ridden the Monk but not owned one. If you watch Anton's first Learning to fly tutorial* - he goes into what he calls power stance. This is all about getting a fairly even weight distribution betw...

Re: The journey from <10m to 20m

Have you watched Anton's video - Learning to Fly part 2? I really rate it. Worth the money. He explains how to bridge that gap from just pulling and sending to getting much bigger air. There are a bunch of exercises in there as well. He shows 10m+ jumps on flat water in moderate wind (20-25 knots ) ...

Re: today's best universal bars?

Good day! how do you consider this bar? I read very good feedbacks about it and the brand itself: https://www.gong-galaxy.com/en/product/gong-kite-bar-49cm-complete-2/ Is this a low-V front lines bar, isn’t it? Thank you! Thats a rebranded KiteAttitude bar. https://www.kiteattitude.fr/en/13-univers...

Re: today's best universal bars?

I have one of the KiteAttitude bars. Its good value. Has an easy QR reconnect. I didn't spec up the lines but I like that the option is there. The colours are awful but hey. I actually tried to order the pink and white bar because its closer to the standard red and white colours but ended up being s...
