Re: Sling Shot Space Skate 65 info?

So i was gifted an 84 SS sup wing that was split in the same manner. To fix it i cleaned out the crack, mixed up some Resin Research epoxy and Anti-Sag whereupon i smeared it inside the crack and clamped tight. Secondly, I taped an inch back from the LE of the wing all the way around. (top and botto...

Re: Firewire EVo versus Vader

So I'm waffling on a Vader size issue. Found an affordable used 5'6 vader- I'm 90kg plus wetsuit. Too big? Any comments?

Re: Aluula ? New Revolutionary Material from Ocean Rodeo

I for one am optimistic about the material and how OR is gong to put it to use. Aluula bladders and LE...sounds like the 12m kite promise may become realty. I will say this, I live and kite where OR is located(yes i know them and they are a great crew)-there are few places where's conditions are har...

@ foilholio- i won't bother with passive aggressive insults and carefully crafted elitist arguments. Your post is irritating and while you clearly have good writing ability, you lack taste and an opinion grounded in reality. Go away, go join some grumpy windsurfer group-please.

Re: 4m SST Taco job

Great feedback, thanks guys. I have indeed put all the suggestions into play (riding vertical, tuning bar, pumping hard, flying depowered, etc) and am able to use the kite. I guess I wanted to see if anyone else had these issues or whether I got an improperly bridled kite which has happened before. ...

Re: 4m SST Taco job

Sounds like its a kite issue I guess. I checked my lines a couple of times and have been doing the same depower trick to mitigate the issue. I was hoping it would be my high wind kite but it sounds like I made a bad buy.

4m SST Taco job

So i picked up a basically new 4m SST for foiling a few weeks back ?and have had some really fun foils with it. However, the kite deforms and taco's under heavy load and real fast shots through the window. I did fix a leak and it has made i better, but even at 10plus psi it still deforms. Using a lo...

Re: Effect of split point on bar trim

The saga continues. I have been swapping out different kites with different bars for years with varied results. For the record, i used the high y bar i use for my Neo's on a small Slingshot SST and it flew so poorly it was dangerous. I was quite surprised at how bad it really was. Any yes i tuned my...
