Re: Would you replace this flying line?

:D 100% Discovered this knot while setting up. Spent half an hour picking it apart using a pair of pliers while being sandblasted by this galeforce wind. After 8 years of trying, I finally beat my PB on the very first run! Truth is, I was so scared by the resulting frayed line that I did just two mo...

Re: Would you replace this flying line?

Looks fine to me. Mine looks worse than yours and I set a new PB a few years back looking like this ( wind 45knots gusting 57knots!! ), but they're back lines, so maybe that's why they have lasted so long.

I'm perplexed of the sense of entitlement and double standards on this thread and some of the recommendations for vandalizing other people proprietary is utterly bullshit.
Don't be perplexed, it was sarcasm. :)

You could place a polite note under each of their wiper blades. A gentle reminder to all kitesurfers that this site is not designated for the use of kite sports. We are at present tollerated by local beachgoers, but this could change. To continue to keep this site open, let us be respectful and cour...

I bought the Windslayer for the GoPro 10/ Hero 9 the other day. Not had a chance to use it yet but might be worth a go.

Re: Unnecessary "Rescues"

Two can play at that game. I'll make it my mission to resuscitate old grannies time and again, even if they have "do not resuscitate" tattooed on their chest. As they come around, I will remind them of the unnecessary resuces.

Re: Beach anchors - any recommendations?

Yeah I use a screw anchor as pictured above, have done for years. It’s true that you need to spend 5 minutes screwing it all the way down as it does not start to bite until half way down, but once secured , nothing can pull it out. I have hard packed sand tho.

Natural High Surfshop in Brouwersdam, Netherlands. https://surfshop.natural-high.nl/ Best service I've ever had when a board was damaged during transport. They offered to send me their shop board the same day or asked if I could wait a week for the delivery from the distributor. Recently I had a mi...
