Re: What makes a good strapless kite

Not an expert in Strapless but from my readings i would definitelly give a go to the foil kite "wave" from conceptair in 10.5m or 12m....
The best of the two world for strapless : lightness, excellent drift, instant and efficient depower. And agile for a foilkite...

Re: soul pulling to one side

On my flysurfer sonic 2's, when ever one was pulling to one side, I'd tighten C on the opposite side bridle. Always worked. Usually just 1 cm or so. I fully agree. If you can' t or don't want to measure all briddle, just release a bit the C on the mixer test on the inner side of its damn turn to gi...

Re: Pansh A-15 ultralight, add a Blow-Out valve

Just looked at, I think, a Russian video and his A15 seemed to have magnetic closures on the trailing edge as well as a zipped deflate and so I would be surprised if you were not already covered. However if needed, I think 1/4 velcro would be ample but I am sure your judgement on that would be just...

Re: which is the best upwind bodydrag technique to recover the board?

For very light winds , mainky with a hydrofoil, you can't bodydrag since kite will fall to the water. So better solution iIMO is to swimm backward directly upwind, generating some little additional wind in the kite.
Ok, ... very specific to very light winds.

Re: minor leader adjustments with knots

No problem indeed. Rear prelines are thicker , thus withstand a 8 knot.

Re: which is the best upwind bodydrag technique to recover the board?

...Just keep body drag in the same direction as fall for 10 seconds, then turn another direction. I do this, count 10 seconds, turn, count 10 seconds back. You should be upwind of the board by then and should see it. Yes !!! After having lost my board in the swell, I do the same to keep a mental re...

Re: Pansh Genesis 2019 3m review vs old and new mod.

I do not understand and support this idea... do every brand support the forum ? I like the freedom of this forum, why limit our reviews on some brand ? I think that neither Kitech nor Conceptair nor Aeros nor Elf support this forum, while i think people are happy to read on the kites. Kiteforum is t...

Re: How I built my own kite surfing bar

I have not tested it yet on the water Tested last week. On the beach then 10 minutes on water. It works fine, so pleasant to have almost no weight in the hands. -Depower seems ok on the beach - powering is more difficult: more friction that i thought vs my other custom independant rear line trims. ...
