wind inversion during ride

Here is a "fun" video this summer of two wind inversions in a short time (less than 30 minutes); - Onshore : kite in the water due to wind drop to 0 - then kite crossing my swimm at less than 2 meters from me (not catch by video, sorry) ... - relaunch after 20 minutes , offshore -ride offshore , the...

Re: Concept Air Firefly 8 Meter

Just weighed my 8 m2, some sand in it, with bridles and connections it weighed 1240 gram, so the very same :D 8) Peter Peter, one question since you own a light doubld skin Pulsion 15m. Pulsion vs peak4, which kite flies on less wind with working the kite (loops) and without working (zenith ) ?

Re: What wind related questions would you wanted answered if you had meter reading data?

Also a wind meter that had sensors at 10 20 30 40 and 50 meters on light wind days. Exactly . One accurate curve showing the wind gradient from 0 to 50m on a light wind day (a wireless anemo fixed on a kite could do it ?). Back to your questions, the curve of min and max on 1 or 2 hours could be gr...

Re: Self launch and self land option

I would not say i'll do it every day by pleasure, ot was that day in this configuration , but there was no real risk at this low wind (if your are a minimum used to walk/run on rocks).

I found the video fun to share

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

a short video of a test in very light wind (too light for fun); sorry the camera is not focussed on the kite, but at least you can see probably the easiest / faster launch of any foil kite (except Firefly even more easy)

Re: Pulsion 18m

One great very light session , not extreme (except at the start of the video, approaching the jetski), alone on the water despite August in south of France,Almanarre ) ; who said light winds are not fun ?  Once powered, I like putting the hydrofoil wing out of the water , or the back on the water :P...

Re: Joker 11m kite

one video of my Jocker 5 11meter this summer , with a launch on a micro-beach and a relaunch after 20 min in the water and some funny tricks (I am not a racer, it is a free ride/light wind front wing)

Re: Self launch and self land option

I am not saying it is better than LEI. With such conditions I'd prefer launch my LEI to get the same axis and "understanding " than other kiters.

Ot was just for sharing and illustrating that it is feasible (but not for beginners) and kind of beautiful (i think ☺).
