Re: Gin Marabou Water Relaunchable Single Skin

I believe it would be unfair to review the kite if it’s not in proper trim. I agree with you, I did not know this problem when I wrote my initial review. But now I am a bit confused : I have a film of the waterstart trials, I do not like refrain from publishing tests ( I never do), but I know this ...

Re: Concept Air Smart Wave 6.5 & 4.5 & 3 and now 8.5

I saw video of Regis (?) on 4,5 in light winds. Seems to fly in nothing. Good to get back if indeed when wind backs off. Great choice! I think you mean my video of a Pulsion 3.69 m2 , right ? here about 8 knot or less, at 8:40 on this detailed film (and after 46 knot gust !....) https://www.youtube...

Re: Running Splice Cleat

IMO this system doe not prevent to add a flag line IMO like a sliding front line attached to a safety line runining through the bar like standard systems ... At leat it is what I have on some bars. I had tested similar sliding trim on rear lines with absolutely no slack ropes, I can try to recover s...

Re: Gin Marabou Water Relaunchable Single Skin

Thank you for your trust. My friend is 400km from me unfortunatelly. But I tried another one 12m, about 2 weeks ago. I think i posted a comment on this topic , no ? Overall i was disapointed by its low end which is my main target personally for such sizes. Maybe for a heavy rider on wave-hydrofoil i...

Remember the "Yaw" input when turning, this is essential the bigger the wing and the higher the span, it changes the turn dramatically to the "tighter".
Fully agree... use your hip movement like on a skate board when "tic-tac".

Re: Possible bridle project - old CA 7.5m

Nice old school pictures... I turned a traction kite into a depower kite. It is a lot of work, be prepared... You'll certainly have to built a "non even " speed system " with longer Z (or decrease the camber, same) otherwise you will get frontstall at zenkth when depowered Here is the result I did o...

New aquatik single skin by Conceptair

I have been told early this week that Benoit Tremblay is finalizing its single skin concept, wave oriented. http://www.lesfoilz.com/phpBB3/download/file.php?id=6181&mode=view He woked on single skins years ago and re-worked on the concept this spring, oriented toward foil-wave application. Knowing B...

Re: Narrowest upwind channel?

Excellent game and challenge which can be useful by the way on touristic beaches having boat channels.
