So glad that style goes over spin to win in this event, best freestyle in years. Now I hope they also bring these judges to big air contests as that is currently spin to win...
Haven't tried the orbit but it seems to be only good at big air, for your wishes I would look at kites like the dice, eleveight fs, core gts, cabrinha fx, they are good at wakestyle but still decent big air performance.
Aren't board shorts over wetsuits for 'men' who are insecure about their manhood? Exactly....and in Summer too , if u are not insecure u have to wear spedoos . Spedoos are more light and legs are more free to move.. Dont wear boardshorts over wetsuit .Better have bums damage wetsuit than look kooky...
That's pretty cool if you have the time to do multiple sessions in winter time, I'm stuck to the weekends so there's not many situations where I need to dry my booties/gloves quickly.
Don't boards designed for boots usually have more rocker which slows the board down, gives it more control but makes it harder to go upwind? Also riding boots locks your riding position so you ride much more square on to the kite rather than back leg bent, front leg straight which seems to help poi...
Some more golden oldies, in more extreme conditions but look at the way the kite goes round, how deep the kites go and the yank the riders get. That's the stuff I want to see
I wouldn't ride the Eleveight Master in boots for freestyle, it's a great freeride/big air board but it's not a boots/freestyle board. The commander is a pretty fast board as well, not as much rocker as some of the older wakestyle boards. Another option you could consider is the F-One WTF, quite fas...
Big air should become more extreme again, with everyone using bow kites and pulling the loops at the apex of the jump the extremity is gone. When the kite isn't in view it's now sometimes hard to see if someone has even kitelooped or sent the kite forward. Back in 2016 the tricks were maybe not as t...
Bring a big kite and big board or a foil, you can have nice very scenic sessions on sunny days. It's all thermal so the wind is very steady unless it gets stronger, then it does get gusty. Expect 10-15 knots on average in the afternoon.
