Re: Bladders in foils

@jumptheshark I have the 9m marabou. In lake conditions with 12 to 15 knots your close to be overpowered. If your drop your kite it will want to auto relaunch - it’s that easy. Reverse launch is very fast with minimal input from your end. I use it with a foil and surf. It won’t go up wind as fast as...

Re: Bladders in foils

You may want to look at Gin Kites. https://www.ginkites.com/shop/marabou/ The Gin Marabou leading edge and sides are self inflating. They have designed the air intake to go one way. this is key for the kite to relaunch It’ relaunche´s faster then a a traditional LEI kite, and it delivers all of the ...

Re: Why does a kite lose pressure when tumbled in waves?

FYI. A 7 degree Fahrenheit or about 10 Celsius change will change the PSI by 1. Example: Let’s say that it’s 20c outside and you pump your kite to 10psi. You get into the water and you drop your kite long enough in the water. Assuming that the water temp is at 10c, the kite PSI will now read 9psi. H...

Re: Looking for a true resistant directional board for strapped jumping

If I’m not foiling I’m jumping with the Celeritas 2016 5’11 its being use and abuse.
Always well strapped in.

Make sure to always land on the back portion or tail...

Just started to do low and slow front kite loops with it... if this does kill it...

My next one will be the same..

Re: Naish Triad downgrade from Ride?

I own a Ride 8m , it’s excellent when foiling, Very light and just enough « grunt » » to kick your start. But on a TT or surf in higher winds.... if you are a beginner, it’s just ok , But it won’t jump. It’s a free ride kite only. Between both, I would choose the triad any day....expect foil days......
