Re: 9m v 10m Soul

Don’t know the difference between 9 & 10, I got the 10. Light wind foiling for me, 72kg, is with the Soul 12m, 6/7Kts. The 10 needs 8kts for me. So what is light wind and heavier wind for you? Waveboard and Soul 9 or 10 is not very appealing to me, to much grunt.. I had a nice wave session with the...

Re: Which Gong foil for begginer

So I am thinking of buying either the M classic or the pro M...Being a beginner, which one would u recommend? What are the performance differences? thanks, Xoen It depends on how much you weigh. The wings are very similar, just slightly different in size. I wanted the Pro Large, because I am 110 kg...

Re: Strutless LEI vs foil

Hello What FS soul size would you recommend me if I get a 633 wing? I am 65 kg. I am asking because I found a fantastic offer for an 8 m soul, brand new, 800 euro. What range should I expect from and 8? Can I ride with it under 10 knot? My initial thought was to go for a 9m..but the offer is temptin...

Re: CrazyFly Introduces The Hyper

Well, got myself a Hyper 9m. No big winds in the forecast yet unfortunately... Did you get the chance to test it? I am considering to buy one, have seen a nice offer for a 2019 Had 15 sessions now, from 15 to 35 knots. I would say go for it. Feels very much like an Ozone Edge. I would recommend to ...

Re: BEST Gear 2019 - any experiences?

I have been riding Best kites for 10 years and my experience has been good. I currently have 3 Rocas 2017 and I love them the hang time is insane. I was thinking about getting a 12m and 9M with the current sale deal going on to upgrade but I could not find a single review of the 2019 Roca. I'll sti...

Re: One kite for old school AND foiling

I need your help in choosing my next kite. For various reasons, I’d like to have only one kite.* If the wind is strong (50%) I go with the TT and mainly jump, do some rotations etc (nothing fancy but still slowly improving) For light winds (50%) I ride a zeeko green (all around freeride wing). I ca...

Re: Poll: Underpowered or Overpowered

I have always found Overpowered to be a confusing concept. I wonder if it is being used correctly. In my opinion, Overpowered is not the opposite of underpowered, but rather when you are powered beyond control...or? I would say the ooposite of underpowered would be well powered, or something like th...

I've spoken to some guys who use it and its made with 4 layers under the front foot, so I'd expect it's rock solid. Plus unlike the North boards the foam won't suck in water after it gets damaged.
and do you know if there is any difference between the 2017 and 18 apart from the looks?

thanks
