Re: Triton Foils releases the first accessible monowing: Triton T1

Just got back from riding the full T1 setup in La Ventana for a week (w/ Slingshot Ghost v2). I love this thing! I had been looking for a high wind foil setup and this is it. Note: I'm 75kg and have been foiling 7 years. Things I love: 1. Unparalleled agility. Nothing better than tight turns on the ...

Sorry, but I absolutely cannot confirm. For me the SST has way more lift and is way more suitable for tacking than all versions of the UFO.

What´s other people´s opinions to this?
@wavy navy - how are you liking the smaller SSTs for foiling 15-25 knots?

Re: Triton Foils releases the first accessible monowing: Triton T1

I got the Triton board a couple weeks ago. Only had it on the water once so far but wanted to post this since most videos have focused on the wing. The TLDR is it's pretty slick. Super light. Solid construction. Foam feels great on the feet. Super short so it will take some practice but I was able t...

Re: Single skin foil kite with closed cell LE V2

Still waiting but our Gin team in Switzerland have flown it and they report that its a massive step forward in performance from the V1 Marabou. I'll report back when I receive these kites, I am expecting this to be a bit of a game-changer, fingers crossed. The other kites that Housi has designed an...

Re: High wind foiling

Love this thread. Awesome info. Question — how do high aspect foil wings factor into all this? I’m trying to figure out my 20-25kt wind swell setup and curious how Lift’s 170 vs. 170HA would compare on a 110cm board. The wingers are using HA wings for similar reasons. I’ll likely fly Peak/Cloud/Mara...

Re: Flysurfer Soul

Shorter lines will definitely help too. I’ve found 17m to be the sweet spot that still allows for good jumps.

Re: flysurfer sonic3, any news?

I briefly flew my new 13m Sonic 3 for the first time this weekend in light and gusty conditions. The hangtime is unreal. The floatiest jumps ever. I also had my cleanest tacks ever because of the lift. I then tried dunking it to test relaunch and found it much harder than the Soul, as expected. Agai...
