I was in your situation too. I went from 147cm to dwarfcraft 110cm. I now wish I went right to the 90 cm for travel. The 110 was a nonissue. Awesome board but a very easy transition.
A few years ago I met a local gentleman several times at various beaches in Ontario. He was I believe 84 and a very active kiter. Strapless surfboard in crazy conditions. We should all be so lucky. 64 yrs old Ha you have years ahead of you.
