I got the Breeze V2 11m and very happy with it.
For 80kg and low wind conditions, I would go for the 13m.

I have a Naish Hover 112, I like it a lot.
Also have ordered a second pocket board from Fone.

Re: Does board volume still matter for water starts?

IMO.
low wind and/or low skill level= more volume board
high (sufficient) wind and/or higher skill level= less volume board
with the introduction of larger foil wings the above "rules" are not clear cut, but generally this is what I go by...

Nomad CC-Wave
According to my wife, its like you glide on the water, feels like you have no board on your feet sometimes, rips up wind with ease, great to play in small waves...

Re: attach carbine hook to spreader bar

How do you tether launch / land with the CL attached directly to the rope slider? Just walk me through your steps. Re: Felt like I Nearly Drowned

hard to explain the feeling in a situation when you and your kite is getting washing machined by two different waves simultaneously in powerful surf... IMO. release kite to safety if beyond relaunch. (the next few minutes will be easier on you and your kite) if you get in the lines get ready to rele...

Re: Fone mirage 1000 vs Moses 633

Hello Sergio, Im not jumping with my foil, but have run a ground with speed as my home spot is a shallow lake (sand) I ride 80% of my time on the 1000cm2 front wing, and so far no show of stress from high speed impacts. Also comes apart nice and easy. What you mentioned about the force on the larger...

Re: Fone mirage 1000 vs Moses 633

Sorry, didn't mean to be harsh. But you gotta admit it's a bit concerning that you have to sand it to make it fit, and that they redesigned it. So consumers should be aware... Advantage of Moses is the screws can be bought off the shelf from several suppliers. Very simple and low tech system, with ...
