Re: 12m choice slingshot RPM Cabrinha fx or Eleveight RS

From those kites I'd take RS for big air and freeride riding. Imo it's also really good kite to learn jumping and riding, since it has quite good hang time, really easy timing and some cross-over characteristics. Good kite with crazy wind range as bjw states. Have tried some versions of RPM and FX i...

Re: Liquid Force Solo V3 17.5

Thanks a lot werito... So honest kite but especially in that size nothing special Well, it really depends what you want to do with it. For me it really was session saver for few years, definitely gave really good low end and it stays in the sky in really light winds... better than those 3-5 strut l...

Re: Liquid Force Solo V3 17.5

Hi, I used to have V2 15,5m. Not sure how much they changed it to the next version. It was pulling early, but the wind range is kind of narrow, when wind picks up. Flappering wasn’t that bad with it, and happens mostly when depowering in strong winds. I did use it for unhooking quite a lot, and whil...

Re: Any Vantage kite reviews?

I also took a really short ride with 9m a week ago, wind was ~12-13 m/s gusting up to 15 m/s. Overall impression was that it could be a good kite but nothing super special. I felt nice/easy jumping, good hang time, quick turning and super light bar pressure (too numb for me). The kite is also quite ...

Re: The real kite ranges

Hi Scott, and welcome to Funland. I think that others pretty much answered to your questions already, but since you mentioned that you don’t know any other kiters around, I wanted to point out that Helsinki area kiters do have couple fb-pages and a telegram group to have a chat. Welcome to join if y...

Re: Leash attachment in the front of the harness solution

Yeah, those attachment points won’t stand the pull. Just find a way to attach directly to the spreader bar. I’ve used pigtails from kite lines to make connection between the spreader and the leash.
