Re: Suicide mode when doing high jumps/megaloops?

I am now entering a stage where I can jump consistenly 10m+ and doing kiteloops at the same height. I was wondering if and at which point it makes more sense to ride in (semi) suicide mode. I've seen that a lot of the big air pros always ride in suicide mode lately. I suspect that their main reason...

Sabfoil 699 Wing Whistling Issues: Seeking Advice

hi all fellow kiters, I've been experiencing whistling problems with my Sabfoil 699 wing and was wondering if anyone else has encountered a similar issue. I've already tried the sanding instructions on the Sabfoil website, but unfortunately, it hasn't seemed to help. In fact, it feels like the noise...

About the RS, does someone knows what is the RS+ ?
I've seen an RS+ in their last video and don't know what it is (between 00:47 and 00:49 on this video : )

RS made from lighter/stiffer material, not Aluula

Re: Eleveight New XS V3

Has anyone ridden this or the new RS, how’s the new pulleyless bridle? Pros & cons?

Re: King of the Air 2021 - all info here

Good first round. Wind looked to be a little light - shame to see a bunch of the guys on 10m. Not sure about Janek's 9.4. Decent height, but his loop was pretty tame. Was hoping they were going to award more aggressive loops to keep the extremity of the comp up. His variation score was also a bit h...

Re: Can You Learn Kiteloops Without Getting Injured?

I've watched two very experienced kiters, one a pro, doing megaloops and crashing. Both would have died had it not been for other kiters around to rescue them. Both spent weeks in hospital, and fortunately both are back kiting. At 65 with a bad knee, no way am I going anywhere near that shit. One t...

Re: Can You Learn Kiteloops Without Getting Injured?

For sure you can learn them without hurting yourself. You just need to progress carefully step by step, and not to push too much (when the wind is too high, gusty etc.). I just have got them ’mastered’ so I pretty much land every single one, going 5-7m highest maybe (so not talking about mega loops ...

Re: 16m Eleveight FS

Haven't tried any of those 17m, but they might have a slight edge...not a big one though and it's also a lot about riding skills, since I have been kiting when some other people struggled with their 17m Turbines and the other way around... I personally have had 15,5m LF Solo in the past and I think ...

Re: 16m Eleveight FS

YESSSS! And I love it! Gets going pretty early, especially with 3m line extensions and works really well for freestyle, and for hooked-in stuff if wind picks up. The kite has crazy high end (like smaller sizes of FS). Only thing I kinda don't like is that you have to pump it up more than suggested p...
