Re: Gong single strut kite

Only 1 1/2 years experience with the Slingshot NF2 foil.

I get it that the more experienced and/or bigger winds, you go down in size and that it's all about water starts.

For me it's more about the kite flying and not dropping out of the sky which is what happens a lot to my 12m.

Re: Leg burn

I can confirm I had less back leg burn by moving the mast forward !

Re: Gong single strut kite

I'm on the lookout for a single strutter for foiling on those 10-15kn days (80Kg). My Helium 3 12m (3 struts) keeps dropping out of the sky in anything under 14kn. Have my eyes on the Ozone Alpha as I have a Reo and know the material is quality and light. However should I be aiming for a 12m or 10m ...

Hi there,
I am behind a good deal of a NF2 Foil and Dwarfcraft board.
Do you know what is the top speed of this foil?
Thanks in advance
Get it... why do you need to know the top speed ? Surely that's not a deal breaker :o

Re: Slingshot NF2 Foil - Beginner

Well... I'm keen for this thread to be more about how to use the NF2 foil with the original poster boring us with not getting into foiling... I went out for 1h today on it, I can take off and do long runs without issues but I STILL cannot do transitions... I only managed to transition to toe side on...

Re: Slingshot NF2 Foil - Beginner

I have the DwarfCraft and NF2 with the learner masts set. I've been on this for 1 & 1/2 years and I must be the only one who finds it very hard still ? I can get up and foil no issues but still cannot do any transitions and find it rather unstable... (I have years of strapless experience). I'm on th...

Re: Switch Helium 3

Yeah upwind is not great either. My elements were all better kites. The customer service has actually gone downhill since the Bill Hansen designed kites days. I am really over Support using my bars/lines calibration as an excuse for my Helium not flying properly. When you're an online only shop, yo...

Re: Switch Helium 3

Well I got new Ozone bars which are perfectly calibrated and my Helium 3 still drops out of the sky every now and then. Even when it was gusty 19-24kn, the 12m seems to come way too forward at the Zenith and hindenburgs. Even with the more stable bottom LE bridle setting. It is literally the worst k...
