Re: Armstrong Foil is junk

As we have stated clearly in email correspondence and above - to properly determine exactly what is happening here we would have needed more pictures and video of the parts and the whole rig. Please Note: For any connection areas, during the molding and finishing process, the fine tolerances requir...

Re: Woo Sports Updates?

I volunteered :D . I don't make any money on Woo Screen app - in fact, I loose quite a bit because I had to buy a bunch of phones and watches to test the app on different hardware  . And that is even before counting the endless time I spent developing the app! It is a passion project for me, s...

Re: Moses 2019-2020

I'm hoping your experience with 425 might mean I can get away from current mast position so far back from 645 wing. Inches now.

Re: Moses 2019-2020

So I tested 425 stabilizer with 679 wing today. 105cm mast. 710 fuselage. 36” board. 5m SST on 23m lines. Wind 14-18 knots First session was on 679 and shimmed 450 as a base/benchmark. Second on 679 and 425. I’ve been riding 695/420 for two weeks in January and rode 695/425 on local lake last week ...

Re: Flysurfer Soul

IMO its crazy they recommend the 50cm bar. I ride 60 and yes it will make a difference on responsiveness. It won't make much difference on bar pressure though. You might also look at your line lengths and make sure all is in order.

Re: Drone's 2020

I have had a Mavic for over 2 years. Have a lot of RC experience and photography is a big hobby. I got it as a way of getting different perspectives for photography. The below might seem negative but its the truth. Just my 2c I can fly it and penetrate into the wind up to 20 kts but you must do prop...

Re: Moses 637 Review

Having a 637 or 645 and a 633 or 679/683 is a great spread. Having a 590 in the middle will mean you will never touch it. IMO you need extremes in the wing quiver....carvy slow play in the waves, 679. Blast around with effortless glide and that slick fast feeling and charging upwind, covering tons o...

Re: Moses 683 compared to 679 confusion I meant

Already been said....I have compared them and could not spot a single difference....maybe very slightly different radius on the wing tips but that was it from every angle

Re: Woo Screen App - real time jump display on a phone

I just published a new version of Woo Screen app with a lot of new features :D . It will take a while before Google releases it to the public (they say they are much slower due to the virus), but look out for version v0.70. There are so many new things, that it will take a few posts to describe the...

Re: extend the low end; single skin, cloud, foil kite?

the drift launch and low wind foil don't go together well. I drift launch frequently with Souls but well up into their wind range. The extra weight of wet fabric isn't an issue in those cases. Your best bet is dry launch as it opens lots of options. even a really light LEI will be an issue to roll o...
