Re: Duotone pump compatibility

I just found a third WMFG Duotone adapter that for some reason fits the Duotone valve without leaking, but it's not what I would call a "good" fit. Three that leak, one that doesn't. Not good odds.

Duotone pump compatibility

I just switched my kite quiver to Duotone Neo's and I'd like to buy a Duotone pump (since it fits the kite valve much better than the WMFG adapters that leak)... but I do have one odd kite. My big kite is a new 2019 Flite. Does anyone know if the Duotone pump fits the ocean rodeo valve, or has an ad...

Re: Los Barriles

The amount of rocks on the shoreline varies. If there's a lot of rain in the summer monsoon season and the arroyos wash out, there will be good beaches, but as the months of the windy season progress, the sand is slowly eroded away. Sometimes there's a beach, sometimes it's rocky. More sand south en...

Re: Duotone Neo Line Length

Thanks for the info. I assumed a 12 would come with the larger 46/53 bar, but I received a 42/49. I found out that if you order lines 22m or shorter it comes with a 42/49 bar. If you order lines longer than 22m it comes with a 46/53 bar. You can't get a 45/53 bar with 22m lines or less. A little dis...

Duotone Neo Line Length

After mulling over several different Kites, I just bought a Duotone Neo 12. Duotone recommends the 22m lines for surfing, so that's what I bought. I'm used to 19m lines, but i can get used to the 22m lines. Question is: Anyone know if there Is there a reason they recommend 22m? Better drifting, hand...

Re: My new project : iGetwind.com

Just have to say that I rarely (if ever) use any of the other wind forecasts sites anymore. I love the format. Great job!

Re: Switcblade vs nexus

I'm curious myself so I'm giving this post a bump.

I have a switchblade and Prodigy's, and like you I'm shopping for something maybe better. Curious how the Nexus compares to the switchblade.

Re: Do Kite Bags Suck?

I never paid much attention to kite bags. Put the kite in it, throw it in the car. I recently had the opportunity to take a trip where we had to hike quite a distance to the kite spot. I had just bought a new Ocean Rodeo kite with their new bag. It's amazing how much gear you can put into it and how...

Core Nexus in Gusty Wind

I'm interested in the Nexus, but can't find any information about how it handles in gusty wind. I think the Nexus will work well for me, as my main focus is wave riding, but we don't always have waves, so I (try to) kite freestyle when there's no surf. Seems like a good option for both. Unfortunatel...

Re: Ocean Rodeo Jester

The Tomo boards (Vanguard) are all strapless and I don't think would be what your are looking for, maybe an Evo, but it's not made to ride strapped. Riding in your conditions, I think a Jester, or something small, lower volume, and of similar design would be your best bet. It has the option for stra...
