Re: 2020 Dwarfcraft 3'6" vs 4'6"

For a bit of a different perspective, there's been a few cheap 3'6 here but I wouldn't buy one now because they're a bit too big. Unless you're a complete beginner smaller is better in my experience. Smaller than 3'6? Yes I ride a 100cm X 42cm board (carbonco Nang) in all conditions and don't see t...

Re: Small pocket board - looking for recommendation/advice

I'm riding the 94 axis tray, it is a delight. very light, lovely deck pad. Have ridden 110 and 125 too. Sweet boards did the width of the 125 bother you? No, the width and flat rear rocker gives a lot of support when touching down or not starting of directly onto the foil. The nose rocker certainly...

Re: Advice needed for new foil board

I'm loving riding a pocket board.. makes me feel so good :D I'm not the greatest foiler and still find 1m & strapless is easy enough as long as you're decently powered.

No one has said.. "pintxo" is an awkward/ugly word to pronounce in English. How do you say that? Pin-texo? Pynt-x-o? Pint-kso?

Re: Spotz2 foil for beginner?

I bought one with a larger "learner" wing, tried 6 or 7 times, struggled to get deep enough, couldn't get the feel of it, gave up and sold it. I thought foiling might be too hard for me. A year later I Bought an axis foil with a 450mm mast and I was foiling on day one. I wouldn't recommend.

Junebug and Grigorib, are those home made? If so would you mind sharing a little how they are made?

(Edit: found the thread, never mind)

Re: Hydrofin? Any insights on this?

I'm fairly convinced that due to airfoil shape+ laws of physics there will never be a half decent bidirectional foil. That vid does nothing to change my mind.
