Re: Flysurfer 6 vs Litewave Wing

I rode the Flydoor 6 and the Flydoor 5 and Spleene doors and Spleene Session and Carbon session 145x46 as well. The Flydoor 6 has a slightly bigger rocker then the flydoor 5 and as well the Spleene Doors. So far the Flydoor 6 is my favorite lightwind door yet. More fun to ride, no spray water in the...

Re: 9m Soul Opinions

I am 90 kg. 9m Soul low end is 8-9 knots on a 1300 surf wing but probably 10 knots where the fun really starts. I dont do surfing really but generaly you can compare it to a 11-12 tube in power and turning. Same for twintip it could start somwhere 15-16-17 knots I guess, but the top end for me is 35...

Nice photo! How would the 15m be on a 50cm Naish bar with 24m lines ? Bit slow in guessing.
The line lenght will be perferct. I used to use the Soul 15 with 3 meter extensions so somewhere on 23 or 24 meter. However it would be faster on a 55 or 60 cm bar.

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

I have 5m2 Peak4 and really love it for foiling, however, would like to have a kite for lower winds. Been reading this thread abt the 8m2 but still very confused; some praise the 8, and some truly not. Hard to know abt their skills etc. So, what’s the verdict on 8m2, woyld it give me clear advantag...

Re: Sonic/Soul/Peak - 8 and 6 knots lightwind foiling

Yeah being heavier makes it harder below 10kn but still possible with the right gear and technique. I found peak4 8m was barely enough in 10kn, for my 100kg I should probably go bigger if using as a light wind kite. With my 17m R1 I can water start my race foil on a big board in about 8kn easily, b...

Re: Sonic/Soul/Peak - 8 and 6 knots lightwind foiling

My Soul 12 starts at 6 knots or 5.5 with a kiteloop on a surf foil 1300, but from 6-7 knots I am ok to go on a Moses 590 as well(I am 92 kg). For lightwind hydrofoiling I dont need anything bigger than a Soul 12. The Soul 9 M is also starts at 8-9-10 knots, and it is a bit more fun since it is faste...

Re: flysurfer sonic3, any news?

Kitexpert: "Different kite sizes have different AR's but same cell count. Apparently here thought has been 55 cells is enough for biggest sizes/AR's and more than enough for smaller sizes. For sure it is, but it leaves a tiny cutting corners design feel. Question is: do the smallest sizes really nee...

Re: flysurfer sonic3, any news?

So far had 3 sessions on the Sonic 3 13M. The kite launches super easy. This is the most stable Sonic ever untill now for sure. Other than that the kites does everything great just as the earlier Sonics, jumps great, flies fast, going upwind etc. What is also improved over the earlier versions, is t...

Re: flysurfer sonic3, any news?

End of 2019 I met with the Flysurfer development team in Austria at Neusidler See and had a chance to have a 1.5 hour test ride on the Sonic 3 15m. Earlier I had experince on Speed 3s, Speed 5 and Sonic FR and Sonic 2, and one test ride on the Sonic Race but recently I am riding mostly Soul 15,12, 1...

Re: Warranty w Flysurfer - Failed Bridle Lines on Soul

I had a yellow line to snap on me after about 30-40 sessions ( I can look up my woo logs to get exact number) on 15m soul. It resulted in a long swim and a taxi ride, as I ended up on a different side of a creak barefoot.. a walk would have been 2-3 hours.. :-) Never claimed the warranty since the ...
