Re: Full face helmet for foiling?

I both do foil and twintipping and since In my main spots wind is usually likely to switch I always wear a full lenght wetsuit and an impact vest. But I only wear a hat for sun protection. I jump a lot with foil and do downloop powered landings and no sagety problemps at all. Although when I try fly...

Re: Heavy rider equipment

I'm nearly at your wheight (90kg) and at that wind range I use a 14m O Enduro, and twin-tip or foilboard and I cover from 8-25 knots no problem. So I advice you to not get a larger kite than 15m, cause later on you could add a foilbord, but at your stage a large door board or large finned surfboard ...

Re: Doubts about which gear I need for my first equipment.

My experience with a mate that started kiting last year, is that don't buy anything more than 4-5 years old. Two kite ripped windows from leading to trailing edge, one was an old Ozone Catalyst 12m from 2012, and the other one a Cabrinha Chaos 9m from 2013. My advice is get a newer model Evo if you ...

Re: RPM 2020 wind range?

10m is pretty spot on, having myself a 10m Enduro (open c like RPM) my wind range is something like 17-18 to 27-28 at my 90 kg.

But be careful! that tipe of kites like to be worked on the low-mid wind range so if you don't like to work your kite aggressively, take one size bigger, so the 11m.

Re: Ram air first session damage

Maybe are the new lighter materials (but less strong).

I have a HL v1 and had a chrono v2 before that drinked a lot of water and never had any issue like that, just a bit of color fading.

Re: Lightwind Kiting Options

If you want to hydrofoil there are a lot of zero/one strut kites that are very stable in light winds but without a lot of wind range, and not very good with twintip

Re: Wingfoiling not foiling?

Same problem here. I just would add that i use the same board/foil combo for wing and windfoiling (SUP crossover+moses873) and I find it so easy to go upwind with a sail (actually better than a begginer board with daggerboard) but with the wing is impossible to make any upwind progress. So If I unde...

Re: 14m Slingshot RPM vs 14m Naish Dash - let the battle begin

Just waiting for the answer: "The best 14m is a 12m kite, and if you argue that is because you are too fat! 😂". Serously, If you don't expect miracles you'll have a very good light wind freestyle trainer. I also have a 14m open C for kiteloop training in light wind and my kiteloops & downloops impro...
