Re: 3 or 5 strut for bigger riders

I'm also on the big side, and I always heard the dogma "don't buy anything bigger than 12m" that I followed until I got my 14m Enduro. Having an Edge 13m before, I could compare them each other. Both kites have similar power, but you need different thecniques the get the most of it for jumping. While...

Re: Ozone Enduro Quiver

I ride mainly light winds and 15 knot plus days are a pure joy, but not common where I ride, so 10m and 14m here.

The 10m is fantastic, the 14m is slow, but fairly faster for a 14m, so allows you to train tricks in slo-mo to be ready for 10m kite days.

Re: Quivers

I have 10m,14m enduro and old catslyst 7m (enduroish model). I had a 13m edge and I really miss it some times, cause it had enormous power compared to my actal 14m enduro, but enduro being more faster, it allows me to do kiteloop training in 12-15 knots, which I love! At the end every kite is a give...

Re: Shinn Ronson Player

I still ride the first model! I'm not sure wich model is, the teal top and red bottom one.

I really like it, because is a board that's very forgiving on hot landings, so it's ideal for eternal kiteloop learners like me! 😆

hybrid high wind wing and kite board

Hi everyone! Anybody tried this way? cause I'm a watersports hoarder (kiteboarder, windsurfer, super and now wingsurfer!) and I would get a high wind wingboard that would also serve me as a kitefoil board, just to cut a bit in the carried toys in the van. I have a ketos foil+board right now that is ...

Re: Ozone Catalyst V3 ?

Sure it's gonna be amazing, but knowing Ozone, it should be over 3000€!

And I' not a hater or something because I'm enduro fan,but why not the enduro?

Re: Off shore winds, yes or no?

I'm just coming back from a session where the wind went from side to offshore. biggest problem I found is when the wind drops or gets ultra gusty (usually with offshore winds) wing does not slog good enough to come back to shore safely. In the end I came back to shore but 2-3 km away from the starti...

Re: Flat or curved kite for insane wind days

My feelings are quite the opposite, I had the ozone edge before and I found it had too much power on gusts to be comfotable in high winds. Switched to enduro and never regreted it, the fast turning compensates the lack of power, but like a mate said before, you have to downloop to land, which is so ...

Re: Best TT for Big Air?

I really love my Shin Ronson. I find it is a bit power hungry, due to the relstively high rocker, I think, but is so gentle with you in messed up kiteloops that lead to bad landings.

That way it inspires you the confidence that you are not going to destroy yourself in the next attempt.
