Re: Hydrofoiling in Cumbuco - Brazil (Video). Moses HF

Greetings everyone,

I'm sorry, I had not visited the forum for quite some time, and had not seen the messages... Like pitbulldog guessed, I ride mostly on Fortaleza and east beaches (porto das dunas - Beach Park). Is any of you guys still in Cumbuco? I might go there this saturday.

Re: Moses Silente front wings - a guide

The FR wings need a lot more back foot pressure (or different stance) than the new HP wings! The new HP560 and HP580 are very good wings, when switching from one of the old FR wings it needs quite a bit of riding style adjustments, but it is totally worth it and there will be no way back really. Ch...

Re: Moses Silente front wings - a guide

Hi danbrazil¡ I've been told by a Arriba Arriba representative that AA board don't mix well with hp560 wing, saying just what is happening to you, perhaps is due that front strap position. He told me it is not stable and need lots of front leg pressure, its a pity anyway, have the same combo AA+425...

Re: Hydrofoiling in Cumbuco - Brazil (Video). Moses HF

Awesome to see Dan, and you ride well :thumb: And your spot looks like a perfect hydrofoil spot - choppy which means nothing for a foil when learned (and not a short mast), but sucks for both TT's and waveboards. You got okay fun waves too you can play around in (which seems to suck for a waveboard...

Re: Moses Silente front wings - a guide

Hi Dan, nice to hear that I am not alone. I think you posted a vid and it looked like you were doing great on the 450. I also have the Arriba Arriba board, though I'm not sure if it's the same one as yours, as mine is only 130cm. I'm sure the strap positions are the same, though. For me this doesn'...

Continued from http://www.kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?p=926918#p926918 Should be good! Let us know how is your progress. Finally had my first session on the 560 - quite humbling after feeling nice and comfortable on the 425. I found myself porpoising up and down like crazy to start. It seems to sta...

Hydrofoiling in Cumbuco - Brazil (Video). Moses HF

Hello There. I've started my hydrofoiling addiction about six months ago, and it sucks that I don't havy anyone else to ride with here in Fortaleza, Ceará - Brazil. I've heard that there is a guy in cumbuco that has a foil too. Maybe someone else sees this video and gives me a shout, so we can ride ...

F-One Trax HDR 2015 - Fiber Glass or Carbon?

Hi, I'm looking into buying a F-One Trax HDR 2015, size 137x42, but I haven't decided wich model: Fiber glass or Carbon? I ride mostly on waves and choppy waters, 16-24 knots, with a bandit 11m. I'm 1,8m tall and weigh 92kg, and my style is freeride, old school tricks and some wave slashing. What wo...
