No, I did not.
Used to ride Torch till 2017 or so, and I've replaced it w/ Dash.

Re: Freestyle kite cabrinha FX or Naish Dash

No didn’t buy any yet, having a complete ruptured Achilles from surf. No action until April. But think the monarch is me. Thanks for all inputs, great💪🏻💪🏻 Wish you a speedy recovery. I'd choose Stomp for boots any day, but that's me. Main thing is to get back to the water no matter what board you r...

Re: Freestyle kite cabrinha FX or Naish Dash

I had Dub either. Didn't measure it but I think yes.
The difference is in the bottom shape. High rocker in the middle yet lowered edge. It's a mix of high rocker board with great upwind and low end.

Re: Freestyle kite cabrinha FX or Naish Dash

Hi Billy Lovely feedback thanks. Sounds like the torch is for me, still I like to hear about the low end. What Board are sailing with? Had the Monarch back some years ago, but it broke all the time when riding it with boots. If I were you I'd definitely try the Stomp w/ boots. Previously used to ri...

Re: Naish Dash question

I'm looking for a new 9m that turns fast, unhooks well and has reasonable float. Dash is exactly what you're looking for. Compared to Torch is just easier kite to ride and yes, hooked in floats much better. It doesn't have that distinctive rocket launch feeling though. I think the height that poten...

Re: Older Naish Torch's on newer bars..?

As I recall Ewan Jaspan was riding pre low V ( high Y) Torch model with that set up. He said he's using 4line bar with added 5th with some adjustment at that time. On the other hand Naish stated that the kite is somewhat redesigned in order to accommodate low V. I haven't tried personally as I repla...
