Re: Fone IC6

I would say yes. I did not learn on either one so I can only speculate but have seen several beginners struggle with the 633. While it is for sure a great wing, there is a lot of lift and not much yaw stability which is great for more advanced riders for carving etc. but less so for beginners. The ...

Re: Market for Hydrofoil Wave Foil kites < 4 m²

Also LEI kites smaller then 4m2 are hard to get. I am glad with living in Europe that I have a Cloud D2.8 and 3.7m.

I do both. It depends on how powerful I am. If you first turn the kite you can turn more radically.

Re: No endless summer - drysuit or wetsuit for foiling?

I have a 7/6mm hooded wetsuit and a OR drysuit. A drysuit is warmer on the foil because you have less windchill and is easier with changing clothes.
But I don't wear the drysuit on the foil.
The risk of cutting the drysuit with a wing is to big!

Re: Aluula ? New Revolutionary Material from Ocean Rodeo

I am convinced that Aluula is very strong.
The weak spot will probably be the stitching. How strong is and how long does it last?

Re: Small stabilizers

I have the Ketos with the 1200cm frontwing combine with the Karver stab which is relatively large at 280 cm but for me very playfull and tight turns gives. Would like to try a smaller stab.
What is the difference between a shorter fuselage or using a smaller stab?

Re: Our new dedicated foil kite takes off: Core XLite

Well, I guess there is a BIG difference in what YOU EXPERTS believe...and what happens to be the real life... ;) The teamriders deliver big time in the video...so I guess their developers might know what is needed to get out a decent product. I will never get it... so much negativity here, buy what...
