Re: Losing stoke

Thanks for everyones support and advice. I live pretty rural, and while theres a few kiters around, very few are willing to put up with hooligan antics....... yknow, smashing beer bottles and lines of coke, along with other nefarious and scallywag behaviour. My wing man (kite buddy) spoke last night...

Losing stoke

Alright....... i admit...... ive completely lost my stoke. I dunno why..... Been away for 12months, missed the kite season, and now home in the middle of winter. My gear is in a huge heap, and all are in need of either major or minor repairs. LE blow outs , TE-LE tears , lines are thrashed , deck in...

Re: Unhooking leash options

Hey Norcal...... So far 2 slingshot leashes...... Both fairly new. The first stretched so much that it was dangling at my feet. The second snapped the the splice in the that hold onto the ring inside the QR handle. 3rd one was a fairly old Cabrinha (maybe 2009-10)..... The one with the big ball , an...

Unhooking leash options

Alright....... Bout 6 months into the unhooked game now....... I seem to be thrashing my leashes. Been through 3 so far. Either bungee leashes get so stretched they dangle at my feet, I blow the quick release system, or they snap. I've been looking for another alternative, but don't really ride with...

Re: Depower trow and trim customization

Inbox me if you need help.
Sentinel is a muck around, but compstick is a 10minute job.

Ozone bars will be harder because of the PU tube.
You'll need to find a longer PU tube, or go without it.

Re: Depower trow and trim customization

OP- I've done it to my SS sentinel bar and plenty of compsticks. I'm around 120kg, so always fly super powered up. That extra couple of inches of trim means I can dump the power super quick if I'm flying in gusty conditions, which is pretty normal around my area. Helps that I'm 6ft6 with a huge arm ...
