Re: Pocket board building

I think OP is asking about how to attach the mast ("column") to the board ("table"). Google translate :) yes, this was my question ... to fold the 18 mm pawlonia I will use steam (long and uncertain work) or with horizontal cuts (work much simpler and certainly successful but with a weaker seal)

He also advised me to put a ...

Re: Pocket board building

Here is my ghetto build, I'm calling it Fugly-one. Paulownia shelf 18mm from bauhaus (hardware store common across Europe). 1 x 300g glass + extra patches, with kerfing to get 7cm rocker from just under front foot. I made so many mistakes I almost gave up. Old epoxy still seemed to be working, but ...

Re: Wrapping rails neatly

why wrap the tracks instead of laminating on them?
many companies sell high density pu blocks, com or rails installed.
just insert it in the core of the table, and laminate on it.

Re: Covid-19 - How does it affect your kite-life?

. Already doctors in Italy are choosing who to let die. If we shut down society much worse is going to happen. this happens in extreme emergency situations, where it is right to understand who among the patients is more likely to live. but Above all it happens when personal and above all healthcare...

Re: Covid-19 - How does it affect your kite-life?

Right now Covid-19 gives us A LOT MORE time on the water, as schools are closed from today, and many workplaces recommend you work from home, if possible. So suddenly loads of time when daylight, for kitesurf  8) Peter it all depends on where you live and how your country is taking approp...
