Re: Levitaz bionic vs Moses Comet?

Hi overratedscurvy, I think as long you're not expecting to compete in the gold fleet inbetween worlds best 10 racers who train nearly every day, during the next 1-2 years ... I don't expect you have to worry about that you will grow out of the named foils. I think if it will be more the opposite. A...

Re: nervous about the new shorter Moses fuse

Has anybody ever made a video that shows clearly a foil with a floating wing that travels up wind? I don't think that it is imposible, but I have quite some doupts until not have seen it and I have used several foils with floating wings. In my eyes it is more about body dragging. Until that, I would...

Re: Where to buy T Nuts and Bolts for Groove Skate

https://houstonkiteboarding.com/collections/hydrofoil-parts Do you happen to know which T Nuts fit the groove Skate track ? The M8 brass T nut at 2.15 dollars looks a good bet, the only doubt I have is the Groove Skate slot is not big, narrow top to bottom, width is normal, but if the Huston ones a...

Re: Duotone Spirit Foil Range 2019

... I know this is not the answer you wanted. ... I would say, one of the best answers I ever heard from a manufacturer in a forum. :thumb: Personaly I would always prefer a as honest answer in front of all this: ".. even better than the year before, which allready has been the best .." There are t...

Re: Peter Lynn Nova

@LONG: Don't worry for position of green cycled knots it doesn't matter anyway. 1. Just fix the conectionpoints with your foot close to gether, 2. then tension / pull out A and Z point until they are on the same high to use them as reference point / line 3. tension additionally B and C to see how ma...

Re: Which kite is the easiest to re-lunch at low winds?

.. For anyone who does not take the time to develop the understanding and patients to deal with a cloud that is flat on the water, they are probably not a good choice. Which is the dfficulty about the question. Also had good experience with strutless but even better impression from kites with trail...

Re: About real small pocket boards < 1 m, benefits and limits

Made my peace with the most difficult combination I have now: 88 x 33 cm + volume water line + 110 cm strut + 580 cm² race wing + monofoil If just taking away one of those points its much easier to start as even with a just no volume outline (green board on first page). As It felt I learned a trick ...

Re: Building a state-of-the-art foil kite

Hi Rein, check the link from mgs, but know that lecca-lecca is already a professional builder, so even if his construction is good, but not on level of FS or Ozone, I fear it will be pretty hard to reach this level. 20 years ago it was easy to improve a kite as also the "professional" kite designers...

Re: Monofoil or "riding stabless", setup and riding

Tried riding mono couple times and would appreciate some pointers. The setup I'm using is Gong surf wing medium size (I think it is the same as the one in picture above). The board is Levitaz Exo first gen. When I setup foil with the stab, mast position worked out to be all the way back. After remo...

Re: mad crash on a foil

If customers and kite manufacturers want to learn from this one: There is a pretty easy and effectiv solution for the "Hang your front wing in the low Y"-Problem It has also happened to me a few times and there are further not less spectacular videos. If you just rise your Y point to about 2-3 m abo...
