Re: Wingfoil boom or handles?

And as I haven't seen a post about ullman's boom wing "falcon" and now "falcon 2" pretty similar to duotone echo also with the string to control canopy profile. https://www.ullmankiteboarding.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Falcon-Bar--705x470.jpg https://www.ullmankiteboarding.com/product/falcon-2/ ...

Why a stabi, when wing foiling?

The following comes to you from the propaganda ministerium for mono foiling or as I say: Buy just one, get twice the fun! :D https://kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=196&t=2393935 https://kiteforum.com/download/file.php?id=89290&mode=view Started winging 08/2019 unfortunately wasted a few tries using a...

Re: Wingfoil boom or handles?

Horst, So why are you going back to 100% kiting?? Especially since you already have the gear and skills?? I am back :D But indeed have nearly spend winging during spring. But the new jumping freestyle and material pushed me back, having awesome fun jumping on my mono, but see the "Why stabi?" Topic...

Re: Rocker Modification for early takeoff

@fluidity: :thumb:

Looks very good, I would imagine that you would feel more effect on a smaller board and maybe also the edges has to be a bid bigger.

If your actual seem to be stable connected and you are interessted to build a couple for me I would buy it, just name your price. :)

Thanks

Re: Monofoil or "riding stabless", setup and riding

As mentioned a few times, I think monofoiling fits pretty well with kiting ... ... now I think, it fits even much better with winging. The reasons is that some of the biggest disadvantages in kite monofoiling are much less or not relevant when winging: - winging speeds are slower, which makes the fi...

Re: Rocker Modification for early takeoff

@fluidity: Looks also good and would be sure it will work quite suficient, think I will try also something similar like Alex, quick and dirty with some wood batten and tape. Would be cool to find the material or even better one of the rubber profiles many manufacturers are using, to buy. I think the...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Not so important which is the exact ratio between true and projected area, but the most easiest to get a feeling for the sizes and to remember them is 1,25: 3,0 m² 4,0 m² 5,5 m² 6,5 m² 8,5 m² 11,5 m² 13,5 m² I think, very nice to now have the gap between the nice small and the powerful big sizes clo...

Re: Inflatable Boards for Winging

PS: I do not want to know the extent of glue fumes the workers are exposed to. I think it would be nice to have some Fairtrade label for those things too. Agree, let's hope the best for the workers :-? And thanks for the video, also didn't expected so much handword. And here is the next product / i...

Re: Inflatable Boards for Winging

Gluing edges to faster gliding inflatables is nothing special and something nearly every iWindsurf has since years. I am sure it is not a question if we will also see this on iWingboards but how much you will profit from them during takeoff and how much weight they will cause. Here are some examples...
