Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

@Denisesewa: Hi, never used a cloud but a stormkite voyager 1 in about 9 m. I think both are round about similar in how worse the l/d ratio is. And maybe also in variability of turning radius. But the rest will be pretty much different. As long your board speed downwind never exceed wind speed the P...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Sorry for the delay, but the special effects editor was obviously not available, as actually on a new Holywood blockbuster. So I had to do it again the shity style I prefer and used a lot of water drops on the lens and sidecuts to hide the helping people and boats. But maybe you like it anyway: http...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Quote windrider: "So where is the video of these 98 percent releaunches . Strange you have presented only photos and words so far. I tested the 8m in about 8 knts and had a zero relaunch rate with about 6 or 7 dips. May be the wind was too low considering 8 kts is not enough to kitesurf but I can t...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Hi Tom, I think your choice of 5,4 and 3,0 m² (as I understood they are in real) is pretty good. I (63 kg) was out with both in always inbetween 13 - 22 knts as seen in the screenshot below. While the 3 m² was sometimes a bit low, the 5 was sometimes a bit high powered, but both never close to their...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

As promised www.kitejunkie.com has tested again the Peak4 now in 3 and 5 m² in the water. And just in one point I was wrong: Now after minimum 70 droptests (this time also often complet out of control, guy under water, lines slack): Relaunchability has gone down from 100 % to just 98,5 % But ...

Re: Ozone R1 V3 is out?

@Mossy 757: fully agree and no doupts you will have fun with your r1v2 and sure they will be a good deal to get them used now. And sorry haven't seen this thing that just about 10 riders have competete on the "world tour" which infact influences the list. Sonic2 on the end in my impression, even whe...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Sorry I answer question for Horst :) Especially when answering questions more precise than I could, as you did, you are very welcome to do so. :thumb: Low AR or L/D ratio kites come to a limit in the low end, even when you compensate the worse upwind a bit by a big board or foil wing with lower spe...

Re: ultimate 2-kite superlight travel quiver

Hi Gyre, yes you may buy that 15 m Soul to fit together with your 9 m Speed5, tried both and will work fine. :D Foils are great as travel quiver as they have both, wide windrange and being light, additionally no Need of a pump or the Risk to have damaged bladder, etc. For myself as ultimative light ...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

@Tomtom: :thumb: Same like me, hoped to get an 8 m² as expecting this will be the size I will additionally be interested in, but now will try to water test the 5 m² first, which is also ok for me. Only disadvantage of Peak4 for me till now is: It is nice that Flysurfer takes single Skin serious to n...

Re: Ozone R1 V3 is out?

Quote: "... The R1v3 had a hard birth. It was originally released beginning of this year with a big price increase, but the team as a whole found it not a big enough improvement in performance and handling to warrant replacing the R1v2 which was still winning all the major races and was cheaper, so...
