Re: The All-New AV8 Collection from Cabrinha

What a shame ... It is 13 years ago I had and used first generation Cabrinha bow kites for short time, which have been great, even if bow concept as we know was no Cabrinha inovation. Relating to foilboards 3 years ago we have seen Cabrinha jumping on the bandwagon late with a basic, total ou...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

While being happy with the great response here on the kite, it is important to also respect the limits of the construction, these are in my eyes: - if the relative wind drops under 2 knts while you overtake the kite in lowest winds on a wave under 10 knt of wind it may colapse imediately on the wind...

Re: Gin Marabou Water Relaunchable Single Skin

I do all kind of kiting: speed, snow kiting (on ice/mountains) TT, long trips, boosting, hf (strapless, no boosting), ... All interesting, do you have photos or videos riding your DIY kites? About the GIN Marabou: I don't expext it to be a "game changer" in terms of relaunch compared to Peak4, but ...

Re: Moses 2019

Custom. Same wing-stabilizer spacing as 749 but mast forward. Respect for the professional clean work. :thumb: Would you or who ever produced this black beauty think about building further moses custom fuselages, for example a short mono to mount strut over the wing? Or maybe share the 3D raw data ...

Re: Help with new kites

...This thread has really valuable information in it on solo landing. Thank you to the more experienced posters and keep up the information. I'm looking forward to trying it out. I had brake lines installed on all my bars. I realize this isn't required but it seems easier with a sand spike for a ne...

Re: Moses 2019

...I don't jump with foil, just as I wouldn't take a sword onto trampoline so won't be able to comment on that :) Jumping on foil is awesome and I wouldn't accept to miss it, so for me it is the relevant point. It need not to be dangerous as long you always have enough control to not place your fac...

Re: Moses 2019

... I’ve been told numerous times that you shouldn’t jump the 633 due to risk of damage on a bad landing. ... Would have doupts as wing span is biggest problem for jumping that higher span has less problem. But can you or anybody clarify if jumping with the actual light 633 Onda is strictly forbidd...

Re: Monofoil or "riding stabless", setup and riding

Last time I was 12 cm more forward than normal with the strut, so trailing edge of wing and strut on the same level, but for sure still not as far in front as Øyvind, but with the leading edge of the strut pretty much directly over the pressure point of the wing. Rest with straps was pretty much wel...

Re: setting up foil kite in the water

@jumptheshark I respect your intention to prevent accidents which may cause prohibitions for spots, as this is also mine if I can prevent something. But I just don't think further warning stickers, signs, subtext will reach guys who enjoy to learn things the hard way and already passed several red l...
