Condolence to his family and friends
The person was on skis and had a flex as a kite. The flex has short lines and the sail is only one layer of tissue. He was on the Canadian side of Lake Champlain on ice. Be safe on ice. . So sorry this happen.

Same length as the other 4 lines plus the length of the chicken loop to the front line as the 5th line attach further down.

A.If you have the connect bar and if you remove the B-Safe connect the safety line to one of the front line. Maybe you will need a small pigtails if to short
B. not recommanded
C. Any bar flagging on a front line will work

He was on a Peak 8 when he should had been on a 4 or 5m maximum.. so he was way overpower. Overpower a peak is not a good thing.

Below 10 knots I use the Peak 4 11 and at my weight (120 lbs) it is working very well. But at 12 knots I have to change because overpower with the 11.
