Re: North Navigator Issue when flagging

Confirming Gunnar's post the plastic piece is a stopper that runs on the first 12m line extension. Talking with the team we're unsure how the stopper can cause a knot in the front lines. Can you share a photo of the knot? Our only thought would be some sort of freakish knot occurring when your kite...

North Navigator Issue when flagging

Hi Guys, Today I dropped my kite on the surf, when I tried to flag the kite didn't fully flag and had plenty of power. After someone on the beach helped me secure it, I went to inspect why the kite didn't flag, and there was a knot in the lines caused by a plastic tube, which I don't know where it w...

Re: new reviews on 2021 North Orbits?

Yesterday I was kiting on a 2020 11m North Orbit in light winds of 14 knots, yes I could not go upwind at all but neither another guy in a Core X6 11m. If the 2021 is lighter then I assume it would work better on these winds ( I'm 85 kg by the way) I never experienced back stall but maybe its becaus...

I find them a lot more forgiving than the 2020 when it comes to boosting in gusty conditions.

Hi Gunnar can you elaborate further on how more forgiving? What did you find on the 2020's when boosting in gusty conditions?

Cheers,

Re: Starting to Kiteloop - advice?

Don't pull a loop when you are flying downwind and always choose a controlled crash on your bum instead of forcing a landing when you are not sure. The loop will finish very fast if you have line tension from a good takeoff. what about heliloops? is that something you can pull when going fast downw...

Re: Woo Sports Updates?

mutexx, Very well done! Congratulations! I was thinking of doing something similar, but you beat me to it. Your implementation seems very good. Great attention to detail! Well beyond my development skills (never done any BLE stuff). Could you at least save me some reverse engineering and share the ...
