Lagos, Portugal next week

Hello All, I'm travelling to the algarve next week from Ireland with my girlfriend for a couple of days from 16th to 20th September. Staying in albuferia but hoping to get down to Lagos lagoon for an afternoon of kiting some day provided there is nice wind. Any recommendations for a location to rent...

Re: Pansh Genesis and some tuning

Great news! It seems Pansh have listened to the feedback and there is now 3m 4m 5m available also. I need to make a decision, what should I use for High wind Foiling? Im 105kg on an Alpine foil access v2 with the xlp wing. I Find the 6m good to around 23 knots too much power then, maybe a 4m? https:...

Re: Pansh Genesis and some tuning

So I’ve suggested 3m, 4m and 5m in the Genesis range. Will see if they decide to proceed, 15 days is their development time. I guess there is no water testing, and with these tiny kites it probably doesn’t matter. I have no affiliation with Pansh, I just sent an email suggesting they look at smalle...

Re: Pansh Genesis and some tuning

I sent an email to Pansh asking about smaller Genesis sizes, the answer back was yes, what sizes would be useful? I’m thinking a 3.5 for over 20 knot for use on a big wing. Having flown my 6m genesis with an alpine foil xlp wing in 20-27 knots the last day, I think a 4m may be a better size unless ...

Re: Pansh Aurora II vs A15me

OLEBARRY - what length lines do you use on Gastra bar? I was going to buy just a 15m line set and discoverd that Pansh discounts them to $28 if buy a kite so I got the Genesis 6m - kite and lines $128! Unbelievable!! I was on 22m lines, shorter would definitely speed up the turning. Is that an autom...

Re: Pansh Aurora II vs A15me

Just to update everyone I flew the 2019 Genesis 6m today for the first time on my hydrofoil wind was 20 - 25/26 knots, definitely the upper limit of this kite board combo. Out of the box the kite seemed to fly very well so they must have updated more than the color for 2019 I think. I was using a 4 ...

Re: New Quick Release System?

Yep my Gaastra bar has a magnetic quick release. No big deal works quite well, still have to push the release to get it going. Only once have I had it pop open on me, when fully sheeted out and overpowered...that wasn't fun but would not put me off using it more as that incident hasn't repeated itse...

Re: Pansh Aurora II vs A15me

Just to update on this: Got the bridle lines repaired and kite seems to be static flying well. Looking forward to another session at the weekend with further tuning going to add some pigtails to easily play with Z length. I'm enjoying the new foil kite experience so much that I decided to take a pun...
