Re: Flysurfer Peak 5 is here

Hey Doug, was that at Turtle? I was pretty well powered on 4 meter Peak4 yesterday but I'm only about 83 kg. I was riding about 10 miles down the beach but around 20 knots sounds like a pretty good wind estimate to me. It sort of sounds like overpowered and sheeted out too far, but whenever I have ...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 5 is here

Looking for help regarding my new Peak5 6M. Blowing 20 (the wind was around 20 knots.) in rough swells. A little overpowered I felt, but not a lot. I am 105KG. Went into a turn. Not superfast as I am still working on foot switches. When I was over halfway through the turn, I look up and the kite had...

But Peak 6m looks not so fast, quite sluggish.
I have the new Peak 6m and the old Peak 5m and like Peter Frank i find the performance of the 6m very comparable to the 5m with a noticeable increase in performance over the 5m.

Re: Flysurfer Peak 5 is here

Tried the new 8 m yesterday. Thought it flew very well in 4-7 knots. Seemed to turn better, but maybe because I am hoping it will. On a side note, has anyone flown a Peak with a high V bar? The Connect bar is high-y, so I would guess that is what most are using. I am at least ;) Great news, I score...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 5 is here

Just got notification from my dealer, Houston Kite Boarding, that Peak 5's are arriving this week.I ordered the 6 m and 8 m as I am 100KG. Just thought I would let the forum know if anyone is looking to get one of the new ones soon. Excited to check out the difference of the new version and also how...

A 6 m2 Peak5 is "In the house" now - waiting for the right wind and time now
Was there much of a price change on the new 6m?

Re: Flysurfer Peak 5 is here

New feature of the 5. Can somebody explain what that means?

The mixer features the two-ring camber trim system. Moving the rings changes the relationship between the B or C level relative to the A level. The profile of the foil kite can be trimmed to be either flat or curved.

Just heard that Peak V5 is coming in January 2022.
Yes, but possibly December. Flysurfer had an online dealer meeting recently. No major changes....Changes are new colors, and slight change to the wingtips, and a lighter fabric.... Flying characteristics are not changing, they said.
