Re: Anyone here windsurf foil?

I agree with above. It is a significant level of ability at windsurfing that you have to get to before adding the foil. As with Sup and prone.

Re: Anyone here windsurf foil?

I Windfoil and kitefoil and can prone and Sup foil all on the one foil.
The XXLW Spitfire
For Windfoil it’s more a centre line upright stance which is more carve turn feel rather than blasting across the lake

Re: Drone foiling?

I’d pay $400 for a drone that would pick Foil and me up and take outside shore break.

Re: Titanium Screws

What appears to be described here is a Salt spray test. Used to measure the adhesion of coatings by measuring how long it takes for rust to creep under a protective coating. In the above it appears to compare a corrosive effect on various grades of stainless steel. A salt spray test is applying a mi...

Re: Zeeko Spitfire Hydrofoil

The std wing does take a bit of adapting to and does not like the back foot too far forward.
This sensitive nature has its own rewards.
The XLW is more forgiving
The XXLW is extremely forgiving

Re: Zeeko Spitfire Hydrofoil

Pumping on the XXLW Spitfire for me is a series of let it rise quickly then stomp on front for a slightly accelerating dive then back up. Certainly I don’t notice a need to react quicker in this department. As a Windfoil I have progressively been moving it forward and soon will be in the Sup positio...

Re: Zeeko Spitfire Hydrofoil

That shows the Spitfire agility.
That agility certainly saved me a few arse whippings by some breakers the other day.

Re: Zeeko Spitfire Hydrofoil

I have to learn to read the swell better.
I keep getting sucked into staying on the wave too long and end up in the breaking section, which is a bitch when I turn to get back outside.
