Re: Hit a dolphin

Maybe you didn’t hit a dolphin, but for fun it tackled you.
I’ve had dolphins with their nose in between the props of our twin rig RIB (400mm gap) at over 15kts.
They are in more control than we think

Re: The Duotone Wing

I have now had two weekends of mucking around on the duotone 5m wing and it is a heap of fun. I have not as yet gybed, tacked or successfully ridden toeside. But I have been able to go upwind and ride the little lake waves downwind and get that wonderfully lift that a big foil wind can give. I was ...

Re: Zeek Spit Track Setting

Re: Zeeko screws to secure rear stabilizer and fin keep loosening

The screws are into the G10 thread and as such work fine but a little extra care is needed not to over tighten.

The only other way besides over tightening to damage threads is impact and then usually a side impact.

Re: When will i relax and enjoy my foiling?

Usually it takes relaxation to initiate fun.
At some point you will relax and then the fun truly starts.

Curious, if anyone has shimmed the base on a Spitfire in order to compensate for the rocker in the board they have it mounted to?
I use a Std Spitfire mast on my Std wing Spitfire but a Windfoil mast on my XXLW and don’t notice anything about board attitude.

Re: Zeeko Spitfire Hydrofoil

I use two straps inline and now those straps are as tight as I would normally have them on non foil boards. I have given up worrying about getting away in crashes and just aim to keep both feet in during a crash so as to be ready to get going quickly before next wave. Start with straps in central ho...
