Re: Huge jump

I might be wrong, but to me it looks quite a bit like a fake as the flying curve and kite positions seems to require a string on the harness which by this view releases in the moment you see kind of a little shock in the harness that releases many water drops in the middle of the flight. Don't say ...

Re: Moses T35 board

I’ve had about 20 sessions on the t35 now. While ordering the board, i was a bit concerned about touchdowns and low wind waterstarts. But after the first session i knew, i had made the right choice. Having also spent hours on the t38, the t35 is my favorite. Nice bottom shape helps with touchdowns. ...

Re: Eleveight OS vs Slingshot Ghost

I’ve tried the Os 10m twice. Around 8-10 knots, on a 1200cm2 foil- loved it, very stable in the lulls and nice bar feel. Second session was in 18-20 knots, on a twintip. I tried some kite loops and air tricks. While edging hard, i could feel it’s still a one strut kite, but i was positively surprise...

Re: Kiteloop late backroll trick help

I suggest try to pull the backroll earlier. I feel like the easiest moment to start the rotation is mid-loop, so by the moment the yank comes, the roll is almost finised. I initiate the rotation by twisting my shoulders and hips! Here’s also a point-of-view video to get some sense of the timing: htt...

Re: Kite gear with Ryanair

Im afraid that it will be impossible to pack a 137cm twintip under 119cm . I will just turn up at the check-in desk with my bag, maybe i will have luck with the person. I doubt it would get more expensive than 140€+55€. Doesnt really matter if the bag will be a couple of days late since i ...

Re: Kite gear with Ryanair

Does anyone know how would this work if i pre-book a 20kg kitebag (140€) and then show up with a 24 kg? Would i just have to pay 4x10€ extra or would there be bigger problems? Taking an extra suitcase would cost me 60+ € All of this just gear, no clothes hahahah: 12m2 eleveight fs 9m2 eleveight fs B...

Kite gear with Ryanair

Hello fellow kiters! Does anyone have recent experience on how to travel with kite gear on ryanair the cheapest way? Currently my bag weights in at 25kg. 150x45x40cm. I am bringing a foil, twintip, 12m2 and a 9m2. Ryanair quoted me Malaga(Spain)- Tallinn(Estonia) 140€ for one way! They claimed this ...

St barths in feb, which kite to take?

Morning all!
I will be visiting St Barths in the end of february, but i am only able to take one kite. I heard Grand Cul De Suc is the best beach. Should i take a 12 or a 9m2? The winds seem nice 15-20kn but i am not sure how dense the winds are at 28deg? I will rent a twintip!

Re: Day 1 Finished - King of the Air 2019 - all info here

Marc also said in a post- heat interview that he is very dissapointed for not being rewarded for innovation. As i remember Marc and Posito were the only riders to bring fresh tricks into KOTA this year. Personally i was really impressed with Posito and Aurelien. I think both of them are real contend...
