Re: How I built my own kite surfing bar

Your flag out caught my eye, the flag out line can’t pass thru the bar so it’s not a flag out. Why not just attach your leash to a loop immediately above the ring but below the bar.I am riding the KISS bar by Jeff Howard and loving it. I personally ride with no auto flag out, just a grab handle at t...

Re: learning to jibe with or without straps

Strapless for sure. The total freedom is amazing. Having said that, would be nice to ride a faster wing and boost🤔

Re: Full face helmet for foiling?

While not a fan of helmets or face shield ( I wear neither) I had the following incident happen today. On a roll tack I fell down wind of the foil. A wave rolled it over gently just as I turned to it, I got the stab just below my right eye, I kept kiting for 2 hours, all the fresh water cleaned it o...

Re: what are you workin on? kitefoil strapless freestyle progression

Fling jibes pre and post foot switch are solid, roll tacks both sides medium success. Want to work on heel side to toe side tacks, Toe side tacks and sitting on the foil. Lots to learn.

Re: Core Sensor 3 Pro

I seem to have high jacked the thread somewhat. Pull strings you have many thoughtful comments. Landing a low and high v are somewhat different, think I’ll leave it at that.

Re: Core Sensor 3 Pro

Teather launch/landings are not an option due to tight launch/landing areas. I’m sure the bar is awesome but the ability to not self land as easily as a low V is a problem for me.

Re: Core Sensor 3 Pro

High V is not the best for self landing, a low V is the only choice for me. I have had high V bars but the added time and effort to reach the V to grab a high flying line for self landing is not optimal. Shit happens in that one or two seconds.
