Re: North Navigator Issue when flagging

Why using this plastic shit at all? A double sleeve does the trick (preventing slipping through safety system) :
It's to prevent the knot from getting beat up with repeated powered up safety release (example school setting, beginner, etc)
haha, ok... if you are able to have a safe...

Re: North Navigator Issue when flagging

Confirming Gunnar's post the plastic piece is a stopper that runs on the first 12m line extension. Talking with the team we're unsure how the stopper can cause a knot in the front lines. Can you share a photo of the knot? Our only thought would be some sort of freakish knot occurring when your kite...

Re: Cabrinha fireball dangling security line

If ordering an original spare part, make sure you get 'Size: RCL' (for Recoil bar). It is longer than the Trimlite one. Your other option is to splice a new bungee cord if the line is in good nick. A friend of mine did it few days ago - his very first time splicing kite lines. Thats interesting. On...

Jesse Richman broke his leg?

:o
WTF

Best wishes to him, if this is real.

High risk potential on this level, obviously.

Does anyone seriously know what the main reason of those injuries is?

Would assume bindings are a latent source for injuries, and problems with gear?

Stop experimenting....
If it works well and your back is not complaining, what you need is not a modification, it is just more wind and less free time to experiment.
Great answer to that question: What does a Kiter without wind?

Re: Mach flott den Schrott: Good ideas for self made bars

Due to the fact that microsleeve seat and safety work pretty well, I changed my storm setup to this system, because of the high versality (self land option, line attachments and so). My storm kites are Rebels, so I designed 5th line system. The 4 lines use the same microsleeve than 4liner Bar, the 5...

Re: Naish pivot vs North reach

pivot is niccce! Although I just bought a Reach range, I would have gone with the pivot 2020ff if I had got an occasion... My ask for you: Do you like or being disturbed by Pulleys in main bridle or not? Makes an easy decision, if you don't harm spending a few hundred bucks more or less for a long t...

Re: Brand new 2007 Cabrinha Omega HD 9.0

Pulley bar will make your elbows sore! I thought they were ok, and still have a 9 and 12, but haven’t flown them for years, after upgrading to Switchblades. Somebody still has the nerve to ask $600 for a 12 on eBay! some say: "there is no dumb question", some say: "he should change the medicine"... 🤔
