Re: 3rd time snapping north lines

Can someone tell me that is diameter/size needed of tool to unscrew these tiny north 2015 bar bolts? Tried 3, 2,5, 2 and 1,5 mm tools, not going. Seems that its about 2.25 milimeter tool needed. you nearly got it. Use US hex (inch based) Try fin mount hex for fcs1 or 2 fins. It matches. Should be 3...

Re: Mach flott den Schrott: Good ideas for self made bars

Referencing this post, as a marker for a (very) good idea: https://kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=107&t=2406356&p=1099276#p1099276 Just one remark for remembering: Instead of gluing a low friction ring to the carbon, I would like to drill a little hole into the carbon and bolt a ring. Result would be...

Re: Crazy Fly Foils and Moses

Can anyone definitely clarify whether the Crazy Fly shorty foils 590/330 are actually made by Moses in Italy or have just licensed the designs / molds and are being made in a lower cost country? Interesting to have that information. The Russians have a likely brand, too (RDB Foils). But no represen...

Re: Mach flott den Schrott: Good ideas for self made bars

Isn't it also better to have the line organizer fail instead of the power line? If the power line is still ok you can flagout without problems. and again: Normal use: The wear of the flying line sitting in its seat is much less , when it sits in a dynema seat. Metal (even a simple ring) causes much...

Re: Double action pump noob question

Damn am I speaking Chinese here? Geez no, perhaps yr intro description was wrong. Boston valve If what you describe happens with a Boston valve, this is not related to the valve. Perhaps yr pump does not switch from single to double (or vice versa, we don't understand yr description) , when under p...

Re: Compressor

Hola todos, I would like to know your thoughts about using a small portable compressor. Anyone using one ? Battery compressor or maybe with a small thank to fill up a kite. Thanks in a kite selling session I had to pump a lot of kites. I used the lidl/Aldi Akku based low pressure pump system. They ...

Re: Double action pump noob question

I used to do this: Pump the kite with the single stroke inflation mode of my pump first, then changed to double action at about 6 psi to make things easier. Using e g. Core and Eleveight pumps. Then some of my kites started doing this: Seemingly closing off the valve after changing the mode, so no ...

Re: Mach flott den Schrott: Good ideas for self made bars

I saw your stuff on the inflexion thread, where I think there may have been a misunderstanding due to language barrier. I have had similar ideas to yourself but have not had a need to test. I am wary of dyneema sliding on dyneema but I don't have any real data. When I get round to it I will tie off...
