Re: Why Peru is not a more popular kite destination?

Pacasmayo has been on my list for years. From where I live near Washington DC it’s an 11 hour flight and then a 14hr bus ride.
Still, those long clean lefts are so tempting.

Re: Aluula ? New Revolutionary Material from Ocean Rodeo

Sounds too good to be true. What’s the catch? Does the material last only a single season or something?

I love the innovation and I will definitely switch to ocean rodeo if it proves worthy. Gotta reward this kind of innovation.

Re: Bladderless Construction

For years I’ve been wondering about the feasibility of a rigid frame kite much like the kind of small kites people fly on the beach. I image you could make a kite with flight capability that retains it shape via insertable light weight poles like a tent. It could have pockets in the structure for st...

Re: Hatteras to get another new bridge ... this one sucks.

I saw the construction on this bridge when I was there a couple of months ago. It will definitely be an eye sore for residents on the sound side in that neighborhood. It’s a shame to see them spend so much money on bridges when the entire island chain will be underwater in 20years. They should spend...
