Re: Nexus 2 seems to be doing everything it says on the tin

The point I was making and you can ask any brand, they'll tell you their kites are optimised to be used by their bars, which you 'experts' will naturally decry as bullshit, but you can bleat all you like. I've sold three key brands over the years, North, Slingshot and Core since 1999, thousands of ...

Re: Nexus 2 seems to be doing everything it says on the tin

Other than Core with their unique supported single line safety system, I don't believe it matters at all as long as proper V/Y split, depower throw and line length is properly considered it's all good. The brands of course will say use our bar, it's optimized.

Re: Naish Pivot 2020

How is the new inflate valve working out? It's the same as F-One and also commonly used in inflatable SUPs, correct? Seems like a good thing to not have the valve sticking up high as on most other brands. Just wondering how it is being received. Thx

Re: High Y bar on a 2020 pivot

I had read that Pivots fly better with a Naish bar, and since being in lockdown I have bought a Naish Torque Bar - but haven't had a chance to use it yet. Is it really any difference flying the Pivots with any low Y bar compared to a Naish bar? What differences are there on a Naish bar then that ma...

For peace of mind change it. Why ruin a session or worse over something so easy to change.

Re: Infexion Seatbelt Quick Release

Well admittedly it was not quite a ring, but around 4mm * 20mm Maybe the problem is that it is elongated, but I don't see how this wouldn't be a problem for any 20mm OD ring. You can see on the photo how it is too narrow to be pushed by the elastic and in fact it is really hard to get it out 202005...
