Re: Sliding rope harness accessory

How about creating a universal slider? I mean, a stainless steel bit that you slide over your chickenloop, just like you can get now from various brands?

Re: Whichard as mini chicken loop

I've got a similar setup, but I've gotten rid off the ball. It caused me some unwanted releases...not a good feeling. Since changing to this setup, it works fine. No spontaneous releases. Admittedly, I don't use it much anymore, since getting a rope slider chickenloop. I think because I still rememb...

Re: New model kite vs. old model (3-5 years)

Re: Saddest in the history of our sport - Drama in the Netherlands

Toby, a very sad day here indeed. All of them were bodysurfers, even if that doesn't really matter. The local kite- and windsurfclub is situated some 200 meters from a local surfclub...we all know each other, to some extent, we share the same spot, and now the same shock. Always be aware of conditio...

Re: Please help reopening Cabarete. Answer JUST question

The Netherlands, all beaches are open for kiteboarding. Most of the large Parking lots are closed, to keep away the masses who want to go for a walk, etc. Kiting has never been a problem. The Netherlands focuses on 1.5 meter social distancing.

Re: Kite falling in lulls

No offence, whattheflock, but I don't agree with your advice at all. Firstly, your weight remains the same, wherever the kite is...secondly, when parked overhead, it is far more dangerous in unstable conditions. The stronger and gustier the wind, the lower the kite should be, whether on the water or...
