Re: Any epic screamer 5g 10 mtr Ltd fans?

Thx guys! I'll have a look at the Crazyfly, never thought of that brand, though we see it more and more here in The Netherlands. The Edge and the Velox are in my sight...but tehy are hard to get for a good price...and I have my eyes on a secondhand screamer. I just wanted to make sure I'm not buying...

Any epic screamer 5g 10 mtr Ltd fans?

I'd like to get myself a big air kite, next to my set of wavekites....midlife crisis, I guess. Looking at a epic screamer 5g Ltd...looks like a nice kite, Dimitri makes it look good....but that doesn't say much. You don't see epic kites around here much...any opinions? Any affordable alternatives? C...

Re: Quobba Fins review

So, thanks to Lee I ordered the Medium Thruster set. Went for a downwinder yesterday; very pleased. For some context: been riding 20+ years. I rode an Appletree surfboard, in carbon. The board is fast and lively, and rather stiff, so it can be a handful. I love it, but it (or me, not sure) has its s...

I agree with the above . 8 meter would be perfect.

Re: Kite size for TT:13,5m+10,5m+what else?

The windrange for the religions is for surfboards, not twintips. I would stay with the religion some more. On a twin tip, the religion is probably in the range of 21-30 knots. And some more when you get better. The religion is quite good as a beginner kite, lots of beginners use them here in Holland...

Re: most durable kite brands/models

I find my RRD kites to be very tough. Tougher than the rest? Hmmm, hard call. I'd say their leading edges are def. very tough.

Re: Quobba Fins review

Can anybody give an informed opinion on the sizing? Possibly comparing them them to a known fin?

I wouldn't mind giving them a try, but I don't feel like ordering both the medium and the large...

Re: Need help with strapless start in waves

If all you have is three seconds before the next wave hits....Get your feet anywhere on the board and dive that kite! Keep two hands on the bar to stay balanced.

Once you're up, correct your stance.
