For those of us who read German, here is a first comparison test between Soul and Capa

Re: The best kite for Teaching?

I don’t understand why people recommend the Peak4 for beginner kiters, not that it’s a bad kite, but relaunch would be tricky for a advanced kiter and I would imagine almost impossible for a beginner? I remember my beginnings and can’t count the times I dropped my kite. :pump:

Re: neoprene boots/socks recommendation

I have had these socks for a few years now, we have lots of oyster shells and other sharp stuff in the bay where I kite in winter mostly, water temp around 15-17°C they have worked very well for me, no cuts on my feet ever, but no insulation. Works great with bindings. https://www.getfyf.com/

Re: Endless Twintip Question / Advice

I love my Lieuwe Shotgun, it’s a bit hard to describe the feeling of the board but for me it’s like very lively while at the same time locked in like on rails, and it jumps amazing. The only drawback( if you want to call it that) is it’s not a light wind board. They have a great 10 year anniversary ...

Re: 2017 Click bar Y split question

may I revive this thread to ask other questions about the Y split in the 2017 click bar? I have this bar with the original distributor and wondering if I could replace with the newer version to solve the issue of excessive wear in the red line (not happening on my bar yet) I also would like to put ...

Re: Naish Pivot 2020

If the kite changed, Damien Girardin would have said so. He hasn't. As confirmed by Dirk. Matt has no credibility, in the 2019 RPM review he made, he said the same thing, wing tips bigger and the kites all one size bigger. Fake camera perspective (which is worse than this Naish review), and 100% di...

Re: Flexifoil Shiva vs. Best TS

If you are looking to get your first kite to learn the Best TS is not the best (😎) kite lo learn in my opinion. It’s not as easy a kite compared to for instance the Best Roca which will be a lot more forgiving, allowing you to learn quicker. Might be hard to find used, but best has a pretty good dea...

Re: Best Roca V3 as first kites?

I have a 17 meter V2, is a good kite, I don't see how you could go wrong on their deal on the V3 if the build quality is still the same. I think they are easy kites to fly and great for a beginner.

Re: A tribute to the Naish Torch maybe

Pivot is way more popular, more kites produced lowers the cost per kite so Pivot is cheaper than the Torch. The Torch is probably more labor intensive to put together also, making it more expensive. :) I guess the 'A' brands should have the cheapest kites then... Or the biggest profits :naugh...
