Bar tuning question, 3cm oversheet

Bar oversheets by 3cm. It has no built in system to adjust the line length. If I put in a knot at the pigtails it takes the center lines down by 5cm, so 2cm under sheet.

Should I leave it? Some kiters want that 3cm oversheet but I've always been a equal line length person.

Re: Buying Used Gear - what would you do?

This retailer is clearly using misinformation, I've seen it first hand at Kite shops where they have tried to sell "returned" gear as new, damaged and repaired gear as 'no damages'. Happens more than people realize. They must get away with it because no one raises a fuss. I'd return it for a full re...

Re: 2023 Cabrinha Switchblade: any real life reviews?

Thanks for input

The 2023 second hand Switchblade is actually $250 more expensive than the new 2020.

Main difference is that the 2023 has no pulleys in the bridle. I'm leaning toward a more stable kite vs 'direct feel'.

2023 Cabrinha Switchblade: any real life reviews?

I have the opportunity to buy a 2nd hand 2023 Cabrinha Switchblade or a new 2020 Switchblade for the same price. Is the 2023 kite significantly different with new bridle and kite materials, or not much of a difference? Looking for a good jumping kite, good quality materials, bar pressure doesn't wor...

Re: Pete Cabrinha leaves the Cabrinha brand

Yes, that's why there are so many Switchblades in KOTA and winning it (other than Nick's year when there was no wind)? Pat burnt out at North. He had full control of all kite/TT/surf/wing/foil designs and had no time to do any of them. Imagine trying to update 4 kites, wing, 7 TTs, 3 surfboards, an...

Re: Pete Cabrinha leaves the Cabrinha brand

So where does that leave Pat Goodman then? Didn’t he just leave north to be reunited with Pete and take is new orbit experience and success back to them? Switchblade kills the Orbit. People get on the Orbit for one season then leave for other brands. Switchblade is still going strong after 14 years...

Any hands on reviews of the New 2022 Switchblade?

How does the New 2022 Switchblade compare to the previous year? I liked the one before, is there any merit to getting the new one?

Does anyone have experience with both?

Re: This is unbelievable!

I've got 2 of the same board but one is 2cm shorter that the other. I find lots of difference. I catch the nose on smaller board in chop quite easily and need to concentrate more, the bigger board dont need to think about it. Smaller board rides toe side better, bigger board harder to dig toe side r...
