Re: Kite-o-rado Snowkite Conditions

Grand Mesa kite report finally got up there today, winds blowing in the mid-20s snow unconsolidated and deeply drifted not ideal conditions. We have a new victim of the breeze, everybody welcome Hanna to the Mesa. Originally from Norway and now living in Avon she was a never ever to snow but has a s...

Re: Kite-o-rado Snowkite Conditions

Normal Justin when it's snowing hard we are most likely to run into problems. Thinking about just parking in the snow mobile parking and walking in to avoid confrontation. And they are already not opening the road to park. Just don't want to make waves. Didn't go today, still feeling under the weath...

Re: Kite-o-rado Snowkite Conditions

I'm Still under the weather but thinking about hitting the Mesa tommorow. Conditions, parking could be a little complicated. Snow should be optimal with most rocks covered. Wind nucking. Bring small kites. Temps at 30. Message if interested.

Re: one bar for multiple kites

I agree with Matteo. The Apex series is outdated. Montana is good. Though I don't remember the name I flew an HQ foil at Ivanpah Buggy blast last year and loved it. Huge improvement to the Apex series which I own and have flown.

:angryfire: No mostly leading edge tears. Crashed it on a dam Dam face, to make it worse the rocks were covered with Gypsum crystals. Might as well have crashed it on a field of broken glass. :angryfire: :angryfire: :bye:

    :thumb: Grand Mesa report Kite lake well frozen over over and great kiting conditions with at least a foot of powder on top. Park and ride is still pretty rocky, but covered with an average of 14" of fresh snow. The road to kite lake is closed, at least to my 4runner with...

Re: Flysurfer Soul 12 safety release problem

I fly a soul 21 with the stock bar and when I release it can get very frisky. This thread got me thinking. I put 3 meter extensions on it would that affect the flag out? This should be simple but I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around the concept. But I love my soul, my only wish is it was a...

Re: Peter Lynn Nova

I got my 8m and took it out snowkiting yesterday evening. Inflates easier than the Aero v2, really smooth power delivery and you don't have to worry about redirecting it back during jumps as quickly as you do with race foils. I flew it on my 60cm bar with line extensions (bigger bar and longer line...
