Been riding the xr5 9m on the past two weeks or so, 16 to 25 knots, medium settings - bar pressure is not high at all.. (coming from gts4)
This kite is more lively than the xr4 in my opinion, great handling and quick enough for powered looping

In my opinion the solo in the 12+ sizes is slow and too grunty to foil.. high bar pressure and on the 12 I feel uncomfortable at 11 knots.. sold it (2016 solo). Their line isn't going for HF use, but just LW riding, so I guess no news in this version for us.
