Re: How much gear would you bring for 2 months

Hypothetically, because if the news is to be believed the world will end next week. If you were going to a tropical place of some sort how much gear would you bring. Given that a. Wind forecasts are never correct b. rental gear (if it can be had at all) is never as good as your own gear and is expe...

Re: Neilpryde Mission FZ or BZ and other misc.

If you are a standard athletic fit - front zip! The back zip might be a tad more comfortable if you have a wider chest/shoulders due to higher stretch in horizontal direction. And don't get pre 2019 model (NP) even if it's a great bargain. Hi i am trying to wrap my head around what you mean by athl...

Re: Neilpryde Mission FZ or BZ and other misc. (edited)

You didn't mention why you narrowed it down to the Mission FZ or BZ. I can only assume you have either used or tried on this NP wetsuit. If not, then you should be "buying fit", not "buying brand". Fit is the determining factor for wetsuit performance. Try on as many brands as you can. E.g. one com...

ONeil Hyperfreak is amazing I dropped from a Mission 4/3 to a Hyperfreak 3+/2+ and just as warm while being insanely stretchy. Amazing stuff. I am prob going to have to sell my XL Hyperfreak so I can get a L soon (lost alot of weight from cardio/dieting), what size are you looking for? Note that I ...

Neilpryde Mission FZ or BZ and other misc. (edited)

Lookin for a new wetsuit. My 3/2 is too thin for water in forties. My choices, are narrowed down to these two: NP 5/4/3 MISSION front zip or back zip. ( i think it is 2020 from greenhat). The COMBAT doesn't mention FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT, so I suppose I would hate that model. Can anyone recommend booti...

Re: Cabrinha valve trap install

plain near boiling water should be enough temp to warm itup. If you go getting exotic you will risk deforming the bladder area and the ^%$#^%$#$ patch wont lay nice and flat and can fail in the future.
