Texas Kiteboarding

Hi, Im new here in San Antonio Texas.
Looking for a good spot to kitesurf.

Heard about Courpus Christi , anybody has exact locations? ( Maybe on Google maps?)

Where do you get wind forecasts? Current wind speeds?

Any closer places to kite around here?

Thank you guys!

Re: Airstyle - is Depower good for you?

Toby - do you use your trim to go higher? I ride a 2015 Dyno 15m, i just viewed some post of you and lukash about airstyle with the FS sonic 15m , and someone there mentioned that the sonic has a good and long depower which makes it good for airstyle.. I allmost never touch the trim so Im intersted...

Airstyle - is Depower good for you?

Ive read several posts here saying a depowered kite (when the wind is blowing nicely) is good for your lift

Can someone explain this?

Re: Core XR Vs Cabrinha Switchblade

Go for core - in my opinion its the best freeride kite out there. Maybe only the North Dyno is better but its a race kite - so its very delicate, no one pump, poor relaunch etc...

Re: Core XR3 vs XR4

Exactly same kite. Only thing diffrent is materials. But same feel, no diffrence what so ever as far as i could tell. Bar - same everything except sensor 2 has single line safety which is suppose to be safer vs 2 line safety - but if you are experienced - no diffrence - the + stands for the lines be...

Re: North Dyno some help with small sizes

Well, my mighty, well flown, no repairs, used once a month core xr3 just failed when a front line broke, transfering the force to the back line - ripping the kite... So Core has some engenirring flaw... From my 15m dyno i think the dyno wont be good at crashing/punctures but it seems very well built...
