Re: lighter harness for foiling?

I wonder if anyone tried a lighter harness for foiling. As I use much smaller kites my kitesurfing harness is a bit too much. For me it must be a seat harness because of back pain. I don´t need a hook, just a rope. The NP RACE seat harenss works a treat, but looks like no longer in production. You ...

Re: Upgrading old Cabrinha bar to 2020 Modular QR.

I loved my 2016 Trimlite bar yet the caveat is that it wasn’t a good bar for foiling - too short of a throw and too little trim distance. Yet again, as jumping bar - amazing. My solution was later to have a twintip/jumping bar and a simple foiling bar with long throw and lots of trim. Idea of modul...

Re: Pansh Genesis 2019 3m review vs old and new mod.

Can you prove s2000 isn’t foilholio? Has s2000 been booted? Or you saying mistyo is foilholio too? I know the guy, lives in the UK. He's in YouTube with same username as here, check his videos. He did not have much clue of ramair kites until about an year ago, but is progressing fast. And he's not ...

Re: Better kite compression bag? Hate the single strap

Not a compression bag, but one of the lightest weight kite backpacks I've run into. While searching for a photo to share, I run into a closeout in Canada - a total bargin at 19,99CAD, the 10 and 7m bags available only. For the record, the 13m backpack weighs a bit over 500 grams and fits easily nice...

Re: ALUULA?

....Fair warning though: I'm going to be a little cheeky with my replies until we formally launch the new materials. Have you done UV and abrasion testing? Who cares if the kite costs another $100 for material that will allow the kite to last 3 more years. But as of now, the canopy is a kite's "Ach...

Re: north sonar foil or moses?

Hi, I just got mine. Here is my first impression: -- Gunnar Hey Gunnar, will you review the 1150 Sonar too? I had a chance to try it shortly and I think it's a very decent contender of the Onda 633, carves a bit better and has a lower stall speed. It's not a pump wing size for sure, but I managed t...

What is the difference between "Dacron Technoforce XT" used by eleveight and "ht plus" used by naish, besides marketing names, as they come out of the same factory?

Re: Eleveight vs Naish Leading Edge pressure

So you know the answer to OP's question, but you wouldn't share it with the plebs. 😀 I thought this was answered already above, but I'll sum it up as per my understanding: - LE diameter determines the required pressure to achieve the desired stiffness - dacron eneven stretch in weft/warp plays an i...

Re: Eleveight vs Naish Leading Edge pressure

I had a laugh when I first saw that HT High Tensile thread in their website! The correct name is High Tenacity and this Polyester yarn grade is used for a wide range of sewing threads by virtually all manufacturers. Yes, there are higher and lower qualities, but the thread they use is in no wa...
