Re: Movin away from Duotone to a new Wave Kite

And maybe the Ozone Enduro with the 3 position adjustable bridle? I second this opinion. I ride mostly waves and foil. The Enduro is quick and fantastic in the waves, the 7m is my go to on foil. I only use the Enduro in the wave setting. The Enduro will also jump well if so inclined. The Reo is for...

Re: Cabrinha Bars differences

I just bought a new 2022 Trimlite with the conventional Chicken loop. My initial take away was how heavy it is. Im replacing the 44cm fixed bar from 2017. The new center hole piece seems to be stainless steel instead of the old aluminum one. The ends are adjustable unlike the old one…..which likely ...

Re: E-foil battery burn

Thats not a Lift or a Flightboard. Probably a cheaper no name one. Probably cooked during charging. Hopefully manufacturers will soon change to safer battery chemistries. Newer Iron Phosphate cells are increasing in density and have no fire hazard. They dont use nickel or cobalt either so cheaper ra...

Re: Cut resistant trousers

I am not a racer so i soften the tips of the foil with sand paper and a block. Some foils are so sharp i don't she the need. Skin is hard to replace and slow to heal.

That's almost like riding a slalom water ski. Has anyone ever tried on in high winds?
I have read that slalom water skiers can hit 4g in turns on the course. The speed is really impressive. 56mph is moving.

Re: Is anyone peeing into the wetsuit?

My brother told me a story about a time he went surfing with his buddy Eric. His buddy had to take a dump real bad and it was pretty cold out in the water. He told him straight faced to just take a dump in his suit, thinking he wouldn’t take him seriously. Well apparently he tried it thinking it wou...

Its like arguing would you rather stub your toe or bend the nail backwards. They both suck. No thanks

Re: Ozone Reo V6 normal or problem?

So i measured the bridals but without taking them apart. So measurements are not 100% accurate. Anyway, they all seem correct. The two sides certainly match. So now i have no idea why this kite seems to fly so different. Does anyone else have opinions or experience with the v6 Reo? I flew my old v4 ...

Re: Why you should be ready to release? That's why...

People overthink the should or shouldn't I release. It's ok on the water to first evaluate and see if you can rectify the situation without release. On land there is no time for it. If you first think and look and think, you could be dead or someone else could be hurt. Things start to go wrong, rel...
