I am surprised to hear that some of you managed to avoid getting the foil in the kite lines. I thought it was an inevitable (and definitely dangerous), part of learning.

The 633 will be much easier to learn on. The Hover glide is a good, tough foil. I learned to foil after I stayed upwind 5 times on a twin tip. It took me 11 sessions to start foiling for entire tacks. Good kiters can do this in one to 4 sessions. I have never seen any one take as long to start foili...

original stabilizer 138 g
small stabilizer 235 cm2 = 110 g
Fr2 xl 880 cm2= 627g
Fr2 700 cm2= 494g
Fuse = 358g
100 cm mast = 1446g

Good chance plywood won't float the slingshot foil. I would check that first.

I am no expert but I think if you add some fibers at 45/45 it will help with twist. Hopefully someone with more experience will notice this and give more specific suggestions.
