Re: What to replace enduros with?

Agree with everything edt says. Good to read information that actually is bang on the money. You want more slack, then you need a proper C kite not a pretender. Not only will you get more slack, its the stability and slow moving characteristics of the torch / Vegas true C kites you want when unhooke...

Re: Naish Pivot vs Duotone Neo

OP what you describe is how I use my Pivots. Jumping and waves. Not sure if i believe the any kite smokes the pivot in drift as even kites built specifically for it are just marginally better. I think you'll hear people who has north kites recommended their kites and people who has naish kites reco...

Re: Duotone 2020 bar with new lines?

You guys are a little slow to the party but I've been saying this for years now. No-one at Past North/Duotone seems to be listening though. Their lines are absolute rubbish. end of story as I cannot bring myself to write once again why...you've all covered it really. it's not a new thing. Durability...

Re: What's the thing with Duotone?

Faxie I cannot believe how full of shit you are. Just when I think you can’t possibly dribble more shit, somehow more comes out.... Been at this 20 years. Flown them all over the years. Still think duotone are the best flying kites on the market - the smoothness and feel across the range can’t be be...

My axis foil floats on its side. Which can be a pain when you come off as it will foil on its side going upwind if you !

Re: Big Air/Kiteloop Progression Kites

I’d only buy a nexus is you also want to wave ride as well. The 2019 evo a is a strong all rounder, loops quickly and progressively but not a huge amount of pull (unless you send it real early). That would be the kite to progress on in my mind. If you become a true kiteloop junkie then go progressiv...

Re: 2018 North Evo, any thoughts?

Rode 10m 2017 versus 2019. (We detested the 2018, flew off the front lines like a low Y, non pulleyed crapola kite that is anything but direct).

2019 is back in the mix. Good kite. Feels like a north kite again... aka duotone.

Re: Duotone Evo 2019 vs Evo 2018

Rode the 2018 evo, we all hated it coming of the 2016/2017s. Rode the 2017s against the 2019... much improved over 2018. Similar feel to the 2017 but mich quicker being 3 strut.

It now feels like a north ... sorry duotone kite again.

The Airush union 14m may fit the bill. Light but strong build and relatively nimble for a 14m. If I bothered to have a kite that big that would be the one. All other big kites I’ve flown feel large and lethargic.

Re: Alternative KOTA rules

You obviously haven't pushed yourself to any height or level whatsoever to suggest such a stupid idea. When you are that powered, that high, doing those moves you need have many hours on a certain kite and bar setup. You need to know exactly where it is going to be and where. How it will adjust at ...
